Don't waste your time! I needed to have my bathroom renovated. Ab showed up, said he can do the work and just need few days to send me the quote.
Never heard from him since. He didn't answer any of mine of my husbands phone calls

Beware these guys !!!! Everything they did had to be fixed. Wiring done wrong, tile is off ,shower leaks, floor not leveled,window still not finish they said they would cap my window didn't and had the nerve to call to come back and fix what was wrong, I dare not let them in my home and neither should you. I would let them work at a pie factory eating pies. And they were the second guys on the job come to complete what another contractor messed up. They had a blank slat to work with how do you f---k up that. The bathroom was completely gutted out.

i have called the business twice, emailed twice, and even spoke to the guy once time on the phone about replacing a front door.

they haven't returned my calls or emails. i understand if they are busy but they have not let me know. i won't be using this contractor.

I had some work done in my home last week by Ab's General Contracting, and I must say that I am very pleased!! I hired them to paint two of my bedrooms and my bathroom, as well as put up some light fixtures. It was minor work, but they did such a neat job in a good amount of time. I will certainly be calling them back to do some more work as I continue to remodel my home this spring. He also gave me some great recommendations on a few projects that would work well with my budget. I highly recommend this contractor; very professional and knowledgeable!

Don't waste your time. We were looking for a reliable, dependable and honest contractor to handle small and large projects for our Philly colonial home. We spoke to Abs several times and they promised all of the above. The first date they suggested didn't work so we tried to schedule it for the next night. We texted and called but never heard back from them. Ever. Not only are they unprofessional but apparently they don't need your business. Since then Abs has lost out on several thousand dollars worth of projects in our home. Like I said, don't waste your time on these guys.

DISHONEST and SHIFTY ESTIMATES

These guys may have many family members to write these reviews.
I found their estimates to have a wide range. When I looked up the price of the supplies the cost was much lower than quoted. There job estimate was 40% higher than that of other contractors.
When pressed for specific details it was obvious that they were trying to overcharge and saying that my work was more involved than necessary.

I just used Abs, for a small soundproofing drywall ceiling installation. The guys I had been using went on vacation and I had to get it done, ABS kindly did it quickly, reasonably priced, and a beautiful job. Perfect ceiling ready to paint. Thank you! Very professional, communicative and responsible, I would definitely use their great workmanship again.

I've been through a few contractors but am very happy to found Abs. He does great work and genuinely cares about his customers. It's hard to find good honest contractors but I'm glad I found him. If you ask him for his honest opinion or take on a situation he will give it. After the last project he worked, it turned out so well, I decided to use him as my property manager for my rentals in Philly. Good guy, knows his stuff.

After seeing one of his trucks driving down the city. I decided to give Ab's General Contracting a call. Within an hour, they arrived at my house. He gave me an estimate for some plumbing work that had to be done. I called him back the next day because his price was great. Ab's General Contracting, is very professional, fair and honest. Ab is great! He is very responsive, is eager to please, and is attentive to details. I hired him to fix a half-bathroom and a walk-in closet in my West Philly home, and him and his guys worked for 3 days. They were unbelievably fast and did a great job, at a reasonable price.

Ab was there working alongside his guys every day of the project, and always made sure you were happy with the final product. He consulted with me in the supply-line and drain placement of a new wall-mount sink. He even went the extra step to have his guys return to the house, remove and re-install chair rail molding that was upside-down.

Ab's experience in many trades shows in his work. I would definitely hire him again for future projects, and highly recommend Ab for any general home contracting needs.
