Had a estimate for a kitchen faucet and bathtub faucet replacement and they wanted $1700 for the job I looked it up as of August 29 2023 a kitchen faucet should not be more than $250 - $300 they want $695 the bathtub faucet should not be more than $400 - $450 they want $995 they are out for money and that's it DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they are not to be trusted
Deborah M.I agree with an earlier reviewer: do not trust this company. ABRAMS Plumbing and Heating gave us a quote to replace my (allegedly) broken water pipe with 1 1/4 copper pipe. Instead he put in 3/4 and tried to misrepresent an earlier conversation (which, however, was attended by a family IT engineer and someone with a law degree and a Ph.D.). Copper water pipe, when laid in a trench must be covered with soft sand or be in a conduit. Abrams Plumbing and Heating filled the trench with excavated soil, rocks and all. An AQUA engineer was scathing about the skill level evidenced in their work, because in the job could have been made simpler. He also said we were heavily overcharged. My lesson: If Abrams Plumbing and Heating insists on getting a big down payment at your first visit. I would not do it again! I would get a reputable company to give a second opinion. In any case, I would first get a detailed proposal (typed, not scribbled). If ABRAMS Plumbing says they will do the job right away, I would not believe them. We had to wait a month. If somehow we would feel compelled to hire this company, we'd give the deposit only when they are about ready to start the project,

Bill M.Not to be trusted. Marc was hired by my contractor to disconnect a radiator and after my floor was fixed to come back and replace it with a new baseboard radiator. Marc came out and disconnected the radiator, ran tubing to where the new radiator would be and I paid him $550. Unfortunately the Covid lock down hit and all work stopped. This negative review is in no way related to any delays during the lock down. Those delays are understandable. It is what transpired once work was able to resume again. Months later my contractor finished their work and we tried calling Marc to come out and finish the installation.
On Sunday 8/16 he texted me he was shooting for that Weds to come finish the radiator, and asked to come over to review the work because it had been so long since it was started, which is understandable. On Monday 8/17 in early afternoon he called to say that he was at a job and when that was completed he'd like to come over. I agreed. At 8:42 at night I texted him asking for an ETA on his arrival since he still wasn't here to which he replied that he had an emergency call, needed to postpone to Tuesday 8/17 and he would call me when we was heading over. I thought it was still plenty of time to have the work completed on Weds. At 4:54 on Tuesday 8/17 I tried calling him and it went to voicemail. I texted him, no response. From that point on Marc has not returned repeated texts or calls to either myself or the Contractor who hired him. So not only am I out of my $550 paid directly to him - my contractor was supposed to pay the balance upon completion of the work - I have no heat in my kitchen and it is approaching winter. To hire a new plumber to complete the work means I have to pay out of pocket. If you are looking for plumbing service I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.
Girish N.Marc's a great plumber. He replaced a few leaking hot water heaters for me and did a very good job at both locations. He came on time for providing quotes and also completed the jobs in a quick and timely manner.
Job well done. The tandem 50G heaters and the 40G heater he installed are in good shape. Very pleased with the work.
Installed a new Weil-Mclain furnace. Marc was fast, friendly, and thorough. I never use Yelp! but I wanted to offer some thanks back for such a professional job. Another company told us the installation would cost more and take a whole day. Marc took care of the installation in one evening. In fact, we were running a little bit late to let him in and he just started unpacking outside and getting the furnace readying for install in the basement to make sure everything kept moving smoothly.
Marc will hopefully be our new plumber from now on.
Nothing but high praise for Marc and Abrams Plumbing & Heating.
Marc helped us repair a leaking radiator pipe that was located in a very difficult position to reach. Three previous company's refused to do the job and one even tried to sell us on a whole new heating system!
Marc evaluated the problem easily and knew exactly how to solve it. Before you reach out to the big 24/7 service company's out there, call Abrams Plumbing and Heating first.
Enoch P.Great working with Marc he is very knowledgeable and diagnosed our issue in the matter of minutes! Very resourceful and is true to his work in terms of communication and professionalism. We really enjoyed his visit! Respectful, Knowledgeable and Fair sums this visit up!
Thanks Marc
We decided it was time to replace our 17 year old AC unit, and we could not have picked a better vendor to do so! Upon submitting a quote request via Yelp, Marc was one of the first to respond, and was out at our house inspecting our old unit within the hour. He quoted us a fair price, and we informed him that, since we both work full time, we could only do evening installs, which he said wasn't a problem.
On the evening of the install he showed up on time, and within 2 hours was completely finished. Our new unit is working great, and we are incredibly thankful for the quick turnaround time and honest communications from Marc. We very highly recommend him to anyone looking to service or replace their AC units!
