My anti-sphion valve for my irrigation system went bad. I checked on the price of a new valve, they run between $100.00 to $125.00 my costs. This valve control prevents backup from the irrigation system and with it down the irrigation system was down. I contacted 2 plumbers in the area, both of whom never called back. I was getting a bit desperate due to lack of water in the back yard. I contacted Above and Beyond, I explained the situation. They said they get $425.00 for replacing the valve. Since no one else had called back, I agreed. When he got here, I noticed the valve was the same one sold at ACE hardware.(Approx. $100.00 my cost). It took him just under 30 minutes to replace the valve. If you deduct $100.00 for the cost of the valve (which is lower for him), but for the sake of this discussion, I'll go with it, this plumbers hourly rate is $650.00 per hour. I have read all this glowing reviews about this company and I don't see it. This guy is a rip off.

I used Above and Beyond plumbing for an issue at my house involving a small point of use water heater under my sink. Michael was very honest with me and let me know that it would be safer and cheaper to instead utilize a recirculating pump and 2 comfort valves in order to get hot water fast in those 2 areas. Instead of going the more expensive route, Michael charged me a flat rate to get a new recirculating pump so that we get fast hot water! I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a company that will be reasonable in price and won't try to upsell you on things you don't need. 5 STARS!!!

I have used Above and Beyond Plumbing a few times for my house. Always professional and on time. I didn't get a 5 hour window but a more of a reasonable time frame on when they would show. Called them right away after my home warranty company plumber said they needed to jack hammer my floor for a toilet repair. Turned out the issue was just a bad toilet. When calling to explain the problem, he informed me of the cost up front on what he thought it could be before he came out and did a thorough job. I will continue to call them for all my plumbing needs. Thanks Above and Beyond!

Had them out for a hot water heater replacement...... Reasonable price and quick and easy getting the job done... even had a leak tray and connector to outside if the thing leaks again it will go outside...... Great company...

Two words to describe this company - honesty and integrity.

They helped me with a plumbing issue today - I missed something very simple while replacing a water valve in my bathroom. Rather than come out, charge me, and make me feel stupid, the person I spoke to politely informed me of what I had done wrong.

Nice to know that there is a plumbing company out there that is truly willing to help people. Above and Beyond truly went ""above"" and ""beyond"" with me. Bravo - I salute you!

Our water heater went out and flooded our garage tonight. We called a couple companies and both said they'd be here in the morning (but we were headed out of town and water was everywhere). We called Above and Beyond. They were here within an hour. They had the proper water heater in stock. Rich and Rich were awesome. I would call them again in a moment.

After they changed our water heat they could not get the water to fill the heater correctly blaming the water softener, a softener which has never given us any issue. The next issue was the guy from Above and Beyond Plumbing, LLC apparently could not figure out how to hookup the electricity to the hot water heater. They blamed the breaker instead of taken credit for their mistakes. Oh yes they also caused us to have to call out a licensed electrician to fix his mistakes. The electrician said the guy (from Above and Beyond Plumbing, LLC ) had not put the wires back correctly and that was the only problem.

We recently had them install an electric hot water heater. I believe the manufacturer was Bedford, the only company that still produces these in the U.S., in Michigan I think.

Service was very prompt and thorough.

They're a mom and pop operation, very nice and professional. Above and Beyond is going to be our plumbers of choice with any future issues.
