I had two other companies out to look at my plumbing which was backed up causing the showers not to drain. One of the companies told me that I had a broken pipe underneath my house and they would need to dig under the slab and pull up my wood flooring to replace. They estimated it was a $7K job, however I was reluctant to proceed because they couldn't confirm that was the issue.

So I was given Jim's contact information from a friend and his crew came right out. They ran a camera down through the pipes and found a blockage which they cleared and it completely resolved the issue. I can't say enough good things about Jim and his crew. He was straight-forward and doesn't try to upsell anything that isn't necessary.

We were very impressed with Jim and his assistant. They came out last Saturday because of a leak to our water meter. It was so hot and they worked so hard and got the job done and cleaned up well afterwards. His price was reasonable, especially for coming out on a Saturday with not a lot of notice. Will use again.

Jim (the owner) came out the day we called for an estimate to replace our water heater in a tight space in the closet.....next day installation was great! The outside vent addition was a bit messy that was minimally cleaned up however overall VERY PLEASED with service and will definitely use again if needed.

Jim is a stand-up guy and does great work. He came recommended, and he's delivered. He even got on a three-way conference call with our insurance company to help them understand why our claim was covered, and he helped me catch and crate the dog when I was late for work. (The dog likes him-that's a recommendation in itself!) His prices are very fair, not to mention, he did the work very well and at a fair price. We'll absolutely call him again.

In fact, we did call him again- he replaced our hot water heater (and drove across town TWICE when they accidentally gave him the wrong model) and fixed some additional under-slab issues at warp-speed when we were in a time crunch with insurance coverage. He's saved as a favorite in my phone.

This is an awesome company to use for all plumbing issues! My first experience was at my home. The team arrived on time, completed the job and found solutions to other issues I did not know I had. Saved me from disaster! My second experience was at my business. Both of our only two toilets were on the fritz with one leaking. Jim basically diagnosed the issue over the phone and within hours it was all fixed. PLUS he took the time to replace faulty parts to improve overall performance of our fixtures. Holy Cow! Above All Plumbing will be the only company we will call from now on. He knew exactly what needed to be done while our landlord was clueless. Jim's prices are unbelievably fair for the quality of work he provides.

Above All had been referred by someone I trusted. Thus, after being overcharged by several plumbers, I gave them a call when I had a leak from my hydrant in an upstairs bath and found the cut offs had frozen up. They came almost immediately and stopped the leak, cleaned the drain and installed new cut offs in less than an hour. I paid $268.45 and was pleased for two weeks. That's when a leak from the same area of the hydrant started. For two months I've left messages (Jim apparently screens his calls and only answers for new customers or new work). Not once has he returned my calls nor responded in any manner. I feel ripped off. I paid him in good faith and now I'm back to the original problem. The only saving factor is I can now turn off the water but have a bathroom that is useless without water. I wish I had paid by credit card because I could then dispute the charge but, unfortunately, I gave him a check so the money is gone.

I've used Jim for several years for projects around the house. When I wanted a hot water tap installed right around the new year (a very busy time for him), he made it happen for me. When we had a pipe burst after a hard freeze, he got out to our house that afternoon to plug the problem. That was after he'd been working on emergency after emergency that entire day with lots of people having burst pipes. He's just such a nice guy. I really can't compare prices, as having someone you trust that will come out to help when you need is PRICELESS!

Jim was great however his prices were higher than everyone else's just to come out but he was the only plumber that could come out the same day. The work was 5 stars the billing was Idk...1 star. He charged for two men to come out himself and his assistant which I think is wrong if he is the plumber. I am paying for him not for his assistant to run to the van and back with tools. He also charged for snaking in addition to the hourly rate. Not cool. I feel like the snaking was covered by the $180 for coming out and the hourly rate. When you call a plumber it's an emergency so what can you do???

Jim has saved me many times with multiple projects. I am a very picky customer and have an old quirky home. He has always been more than fair on his price and super fast and dependable on job completions. He work quality is always way above the norm and I have sent him work from many neighbors around me. I cannot recommend him enough for any plumbing job you may have.

I have unfortunately had a TERRIBLE experience with Jim and Above All Plumbing.

The first time I tried to use Jim, he never showed up for the scheduled appointment, never provided the quote he had promised, and basically just "vanished".

I made the mistake of trying one more time... This time he did come and give a quote on some work. I wanted to have a certain part of my plumbing "patched" instead of completely replaced. I am unable to afford completely replacing it at this time, but I wanted to do the best I could within reason. The whole time he was giving the quote he kept calling into question my ethics and preaching to me about how he was a "master plumber" and an "ethical man" and he would refuse to do unethical work. I was unaware that being unwilling to pay someone a ton of money to completely update a quirky 1920's home was unethical...

Anyways, I we finally agreed for him to "patch" the troubled spot and also help to fix a different area where a vent pipe was leaking water. He did the job, and we paid in full. Unfortunately, we started leaking rain water from the roof where he had placed a new vent pipe... THAT WAS OVER 3 MONTHS AGO and I still can't get him to come out and look at his work. I have been calling/texting with minimal responses. He continues to say "it must be something else" although I can see rain water coming into the roof at the exact point the he placed the new pipe - it's a pretty obvious problem and very clear that it is his mistake.

I continued to call and text and finally - after moaning that he was too busy and needed a long Labor Day weekend to catch up - he agreed to come the following week. UNFORTUNATELY HE AGAIN HAS NOT SHOWN UP!! I continue to call and text but he won't even respond now.

Amazing how this man who questioned my "ethics" and "integrity" (for not wanting to completely replace my 1920's plumbing) has been so unethical and negligent in taking care of me and my family. He got my money and he ran. It's very unfortunate. I would steer clear of Jim and Above All Plumbing. He will talk a big game on the front end and try to win you over (won my wife over, I always felt uneasy with him) - but in the end he will leave you high and dry (or soaking wet I guess if you spring a roof leak like me...)
