This is very expensive plumbing service!

1. It is supposed to be free estimate policy, but Rich said he needs to charge 89 dollars to open up the ceiling to find the root cause, and he said 89 dollars includes to put back after the work is done.
2. After Rich opened up a hole, he said one section of pipe needs to be replaced. He asked for 281 dollars for labor and parts, then he got the job done in 30 minutes. The copper pipe that he replaced is about 6 inches long. Why would half hour of labor and 6 inches copper cost 281 dollars?

In the end, Rich did not install the rod sheet back to the ceiling as he promised earlier and leaving a hole in my living ceiling.

My favorite plumbing company!!! Have used them several times and the owner is always extremely professional and cost conscience he is never out to gouge you and will give you server all options. I highly highly recommend these guys!!!!

Ok, long story short, I'm housesitting for friends at a beautiful home in Pleasanton and last evening I happened to go into the garage and heard water dripping. It was my friends' enormous hot water heater, fortunately it appeared by the size of the puddle that it hadn't been leaking long. Lucky lucky me. I spotted the ""Able To Plumbing"" magnet on the side and immediately called and left a message. A little while later Courtney called and said she would send Travis out at 8:30 this morning and that she would call before they arrived. Well she called at 8 am they arrived at 8:30 on the dot. Travis said the nine-year old water heater was kaput. The friends I'm housesitting for are way up north in Greenland and Iceland and basically can't be reached easily, even by satellite phone. After talking with Travis about options, he explained that he had done a lot of work for my friends and obviously knew the plumbing history of the house. With the info Travis gave me I made the executive decision to have it replaced before they return in 12 days from their trip. By 10:00 am they had it removed, went to get the new one, and by 11:30 it was up and running. SO IMPRESSED by their service, efficiency and knowledge. Travis and Brad were amazing, I wouldn't hesitate to call them about any plumbing issue. Wow, great service, a rare experience these days. Love them.

Rich and Brad re-routed my cold and hot water due to a leak in the foundation. They also fixed a hot water plumbing problem at no charge. They were prompt, polite, and the price was excellent. I would highly recommend them.

I have been in an physically abusive relationship for the past 3 months. I have to time every move I make not knowing if I'll get burned or left in the cold. I have had to walk on egg shells every day never knowing what the temperature will be , hot, cold or not knowing when things will heat up or cool down! So I got tired of living this way and called Travis Ables and Courtney Houchin-Ables from Able To Plumbing & Rooter to step in and take a look at the situation! Turns out my flash hot water heater was bad!!! I know longer have to walk on egg shells with my hot and cold shower problem!!! Thx for the great install and service guys! I now have a house full of consistent hot and cold water , no more getting burned or left in the cold! Thx guys great job, great service as always!!!!

Travis came out to investigate a leak for us, which turned out (hopefully!) to just be caused by a loose connection of a drain on our bathtub. He spent about a half hour looking for the source of the leak and then when he found the loose connection, he tightened it up for us and told us we didn't owe him anything! I would have been happy to pay him for his time, but he refused. Very friendly too! Would definitely call them again if we have any plumbing issues.

I was so frustrated dealing with another plumbing company about a main valve problem we needed replaced that ultimately resulted in our water heater going out and needing to be replaced. Was not about to get in any deeper with the valve company so called Able's and Travis answered. He told me he couldn't do an estimate over the phone he prefers to come out and there would be no charge for the estimate. Travis was there within the hour, gave me a fair price and had his guys Rich and Brad there that day. The guys are terrific and really know what they're doing. Water heater was in and hot water was on in a couple of hours. I only wish I hadn't panicked and looked for a 24hr plumber when the water went out on a Sunday night. That was the only reason I called the other company. Will only deal with Able To Plumbing who was recommended because of other work he did in my neighborhood. There was only one glitch with the hot water coming through after the job was done and the guys left, I called Travis and he answered right away (no voice mail that said talk to me on Monday since it was a Friday). We got that sorted out immediately and it was all good.
Not getting the one star reviews here. If you want a professional plumber who stands behind his company, his employees and his work, call them.

Travis from Able To Plumbing fixed two leaky toilets and recommended a few upgrades. He did the work in about an hour, was professional and explained what he was going to do in advance. Travis was very personable and had the part he needed with him.

Their rates are reasonable and they don't mind working Saturdays. I'll call them next I have any plumbing work.
