Travis has a background as a Regional Shop Development Manager for Service Master, where he progressed from a sewer cleaner and A/C technician. Seeing customers getting less value for their money with rates of $200-$300 per hour, he realized, ""There has to be a better solution."" That realization led him to leave the corporate world and establish Able To Plumbing, bringing with him the skills and knowledge he gained along the way.

With her experience in the banking industry, Courtney is the one who ensures everything runs smoothly as the accountant, CSR, and dispatcher. When you call to schedule an appointment, she is often the person you will speak with.

I was referred to Able To Plumbing and Travis by a pool plumber friend.
Travis was patient with my long rambling messages about probably unclear plumbing needs.
He showed up on time with Jared, both of whom were friendly, efficient, and communicative. They took care of the one malfunctioning appliance and addressed an issue of concern I had with another system.

I am beyond impressed and will call them again for any future needs.

We had a great experience with Travis/Able To Plumbing!

We had a dangerous gas leak in our home and was shut down by PG&E. A big corporate plumbing company came and checked all visible joints and they were really good, but could not yet locate the leak. The next step was to schedule a follow up appointment the following week to start tearing down walls by the kid's bedrooms to find the leak, which also could get very expensive with the high hourly rate. And we had to wait another weekend with no gas for hot water in December.

I called Travis just to see if there were any other options. He said that the big company pretty much followed the same procedures he would have done. But I must have sounded pretty desperate and he offered to come out the next day, Saturday to check it out.

Travis stopped by with his son and first started in the garage thinking through possible areas where the leak might be. After just a few cuts through the drywall on the ceiling, they both found the leak!

Throughout this whole process Travis was professional, knows his stuff and understood the effect having a dangerous gas leak in our home was putting us through. He gets really high marks for thoroughness, understanding, professionalism and just being a overall good human being.

Exceptional service! Highly recommend Travis Ables's Able To Plumbing & Rooter.
The day before a driveway cement pour a broken water line was discovered--tree and bush roots found a way into the pipe and grew to the point of complete destruction.
A call to Able To Plumbing, Travis Ables answered and helped diagnose the problem and suggested a replacement of pipe vs. hydro-blasting the root system from the pipe (roots would just grow back again).
Travis's excellent customer service and genuine desire to help shone through the phone. Great customer service, an expert in his field, and a nice guy to boot-- I would absolutely recommend Able Plumbing to family and friends.

Plumbing problems always happen on a weekend!

Our water heater had a sudden death (thankfully it's summer) and cold showers are no fun!
We placed a call in to Able on a late Sunday afternoon expecting to leave a message for a call back Monday. Travis called back within 1/2 hour, scheduled an appointment & showed up exactly on time the next day. WOW!!! service sp we're super happy to give a five star rating.
Most home improvements are costly and yet they are an investment for the comfort of us in our homes.

I feel the pricing was fair - and most of all - the turn around time was amazing.

Great customer service! - We highly recommend this company for any and all your plumbing needs!

This was my first time working with ""Able to"" and I selected them based on their high ratings. I'm not sure who submitted their ratings, but I did not have such a positive experience.

I called to make an appt for a site visit and quote on a project. I was given a 2-hr ""window"" (1-3) to be available for the visit, and as I don't live at the site, I drove the required 30min to get there to ""wait"" for Travis to arrive. After 1.5 hrs, I even called the office to confirm Travis had me scheduled and was told all was well for the scheduled appt. At 3:00, Travis still had not arrived, nor had anyone called me, so I left as I had another appt.

It's now the next day and I have still not heard from them, nor will answer or return my calls. Obviously, I won't be pursuing business with these ppl if this is how they do business. I can only imagine how they operate and communicate once the project is underway. It seems they are not ""Able to"" even handle their appts professionally.

In response to your reply, It's not my fault you failed to annotate the appointment. Guess that explains why nobody showed though.

I had a leaking water heater, I called at 10 am and left a message, within 5 minutes my call was returned. Within 10 minutes someone was at my home assessing what needed to be done, by 1pm everything was installed and completed.
I highly recommend Able to Plumbing to everyone as I found their service quick, efficient and the staff were very polite.

These guys came recommended to me when my laundry room flooded on an early Monday morning. They were at the house within an hour or so and Clyde was such a great guy to work with. He explained everything that was happening and answered any and every question my curious non plumbers mind had. He even too a look at my kitchen sink because I mentioned it seemed like it had a slow drain.
Within the hour of his arrival, we had clear water running through our main. Clyde also told us about running Simple Green through our drains at least a couple of times year to avoid clogging again.
Price was more than fair for the service and customer care which Clyde provided.
I would highly recommend!

I hired them a month ago to replace a broken sump pump. I didn't mind the exorbitant charge, given that I was desperate. They likely knew they could take advantage, and they were right, I allowed it. Incidentally I was not given a hint of what the price would end up being - no quote in other words - just a hefty bill after the work was completed. Fine! At least I thought my problem was handled so I simply paid the bill.

Unfortunately, only three weeks later, I noticed that the new pump was not working. They refused to send anyone without charging me an additional fee (about 200 dollars) just to look at the work THEY had performed not long before. The flood is easy to see, and I have pictures.

If this was a new or if there was a different problem causing the flood, I would understand having to pay for extra work, of course. But the ""just to look"" fee was an ultimatum.

To me this is very unprofessional. ""Integrity and honesty"" would not be the words I'd use to define that company. Beware!

After their reply to my original post. Their statement is incorrect. They said there would be a charge to look at the work they did, no matter what.
