They make it hard to support a local business. I bought a standard length of ""black pipe"" and two fittings for about $100. It was my mis-measurement, but I needed a different size. They have an absolute rigid policy of no returns (""because of Covid""??), even for unused, standard products. I bought the replacement piece and left the original, unused pipe for them to resell. Home Depot and Lowe's accept returns, including during Covid. Can't say I'll be back.

I am a contractor, not a plumber but occasionally do some plumbing work on my projects. most of the guys here are really unhelpful to me. I try to avoid shopping here if I can, which seems stupid as they are local. Most bad experiences are with the older guy, one or two of the younger white guys has been rude, annoyed and generally offensive. The black guys i have dealt with there have been really nice. No race issue here just describing them, I am white.

They have 2 problems, 1) they're listed in the hardware section when in fact they're just a plumbing supply company 2) they have poor telephone presence, that is a real turn off. Other than that I guess they may be really wonderful, but I'll never know because when It comes to plumbing supplies I'd rather spend my money at Home Depot, they have better customer service.

they are probably great if you're a plumber, but if you are a ""regular person"" trying to do something at your house.... go somewhere else. I've been here multiple times over the past 10 years. -- Maybe it's because I'm a woman, but I've felt ""blown off"" more than once. Today was the last straw. I called looking for a part that, as it turns out they don't carry (at least I don't think they do). I asked where I might be able to find it & the guy gave me an answer that made it clear he didn't really know what I was asking for. Then before I could ask a follow-up question he hung up on me. -- NO worries. I won't be back. Lowe's & Home Depot are MUCH more helpful EVEN when they don't have the part you're looking for!
