I'm super mad and disappointed in this company. My elderly mom needed a float fixed in her toilets. She was charged $1,200 to put in 1 new toilet and do a minor fix on the other one! I wish she had asked me how much these things are supposed to cost before paying these people. Way to take advantage of an older woman. The guy told her it was some kind of a ""special toilet"" for hard water. She probably didn't even need a toilet replacement. Bulls*it. Do yourselves a favor, and stay away from this rip-off company. You should be ashamed of yourselves

They never show up, much less ""on time.' Able is utterly irresponsible as an organization. If you have a modest-sized job or an individual customer, they will jack you around endlessly. Their claim to be on time is such a joke. They will schedule for a whole day -- so they will choose when to show, but then they quite often do not show at all. So you have to be ready to welcome someone at their convenience from 8-5, and then they will call with an excuse. Most recently Dwain was ""at lunch' -- all day, and never showed. Then they want to reschedule while, presumably, they are handling bigger projects. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and we have been patient and persistent over months -- years now.

Had Office ballast go out this morning. Small job I know and not a money maker for most companies. Called Able and said they could come out an fix it the first week in March !! Chico Electric will be here at this afternoon.
Service wins !

Found out they did not fix my mother's plumbing, because the were instructed to do otherwise before they even went out to her house. Just charged her for going out there and saying that all kinds of things needed to be done to correct the problem. $333 was just to snake the pipes...whatever. Glad they did nothing.

Dishonest. The repair man intentionally crimped the gas inlet to the water heater trying to make it look like it was non-functional.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are totally dishonest and completely ripped me off. They took advantage of the fact that I live out of the area and have a rental house that I am renting to tenants. I had a very very minor problem in the kitchen where the spray nozzle attached to the spray hose in the kitchen sink needed to be replaced, it was leaking. They charged me $186.00 dollars to replace a $10.00 nozzle, which took only a few minutes of labor to do! All he had to do was screw off the old nozzle, and screw on the new one. Then they had the gall to try to get me to spend over $500 to replace the entire kitchen sink, which didn't even need to be replaced. Thankfully I did not fall for that ploy! They ripped me off, extremely dishonest business. They also did not detail the labor and parts charges on the receipt, they just wrote the total price down, which I know for a fact is an illegal practice! Again, this company took advantage of me, and the fact that I live out of the area, and couldn't be there in person to monitor what the plumber was doing!!

Wasn't impressed. There quotes were not quite accurate. They did an ""upscale"". In my house. Did not appreciate it

Some time passed and it turns out the wax ring seal on that upstairs toilet didn't hold and we developed a leak that ruined the downstairs ceiling drywall. It was a slow drip. Fortunately, we caught it before any mold set in. We had them back to assess and fix it. Since they were the ones who set the toilet in the first place, I requested a discount but they declined. So, that cost us an extra several hundred bucks (it was several months ago now so I forget how much), not to mention the ceiling repair. A free repair would have been above and beyond (upgrade to 5 stars), a discount might have been expected (no update to review), but another expensive bill is bad service in my opinion.
Note regarding the failure of that toilet wax seal: it's the bathroom used predominantly by my kids, weight 55 lbs and under, and even the adults in the house max out at 150 lbs. It shouldn't have failed under these conditions.

Able plumbing was here within the hour when I called for a septic clear out. They were in and out from the time I called to finish within 2 hours. Jonathan and his coworker were extremely thorough, friendly and made sure I was aware of what was going on!

Alex is the reason we will use Able Plumbing and Electrical in the future. This man deserves company recognition as well as a raise. We returned home from Labor Day weekend to plumbing issues and were unable to use either of our toilets or showers. Alex came over after hours and stayed for 2 hours until our pipes were clean. At one point Alex told us that the machine he needed to use was a two person job. Alex could have gone home for the night, had dinner, enjoyed his evening, and scheduled us an appointment for the following day, but instead he stayed to help and called in another technician, Tate, after hours to come help us. I was both gracious and pleasantly surprised at how willing both Tate and Alex were to stay until our plumbing was no longer a problem. Both men worked diligently and were nothing but polite and respectful throughout the job. I am so appreciative for the hard work and dedication both men demonstrated yesterday.
Before he left, Alex walked us through a range of options to remedy any of our plumbing issues in the future. He was both knowledgeable and informative. The price of our service was reasonable and I will without a doubt use Able and Alex's services in the future.
