Fred is the owner/operator. He was able to stop out the same day and quickly diagnosed an issue with a drain and had it open within minutes. He was very personable and gave some tips on keeping the drain open to prevent further issues. Will call again in the future for any plumbing needs.

I'd contacted Able Master November 2020 to clear out the sewer pipe. Fred responded quickly by coming the next day. When he let me know that he was done, he stated the amount due and produced a receipt. He left without cleaning the dirt, grime, and roots on the basement floor! He told me that he cleaned up the bigger roots. I was speechless when he quickly exited my house without a word about the condition he'd left the floor. I wrote a letter to him explaining my concerns and the letter was returned as nondeliverable. The Douglas Rd address that is stated on their website is not the correct business address. Fast forward to now, October 2021, when the floor drain is full again and not draining properly. I called another company who came out. After the plumber cleaned the pipe, he explained to me that the pipe hadn't been completely cleaned, which meant the previous plumber (Able Master) didn't have the snake go out far enough. I selected Fred in the first place because of his reviews, however, I did not have a good experience. Nice guy but not happy about the mess he left and, 11 months later, the pipe had to be cleaned again.

My kitchen sink was backed up! My house was built in the 1960's and, from Fred Fred from Able Master's estimate, has never been snaked. He answered my call, came a few hours later, charged me a reasonable fee. He used three different snakes to get the job done. Very friendly, kind, reliable, no pressure. Kindly explained each step of the process, how he planned to fix, any problems he saw as he went. I would highly recommend Able Master and will plan to call again in the future. I don't say this often: I am one happy customer!

Our drain in our basement was filling/overflowing with water when we took a shower. It also started doing so when we flushed our toilets. We reached out to our homeowners insurance company and we deemed it an emergency. We were told we would hear from someone within 3 hours. Well 3 hours became almost 2 days and the problem was getting worst. We decided we had to take the matters into our own hands since the insurance company didn't think that it was an emergency. We ended up speaking with Fred who was able to be at our house within 15 minutes. He immediately knew what the issue was and he worked diligently while explaining things to us as he did. Fred is very professional and knowledgeable and for first time home owners, this was definitely a positive experience. I feel Fred is very honest and fair and we will definitely continue to call on him in the future. Thank you for coming on such short notice and prioritizing our home! I talked to Fred on a Sunday morning and explained that it wasn't an emergency. We setup a time the next day and he called 15 minutes prior to arriving at my house. He and his son were able to fix my clogged backroom drain and explained the issue in detail. They are prompt, courteous, affordable and above all very kind and knowledgeable people. Called on a Sunday evening, a technician was out within 1 hour. Fred, the owner of the business has decades of experience and really knows his profession, he came out personally to unclog my flooded basement. Being a Sunday I expected to pay an arm and a leg and was pleasantly surprised when the bill only came to $115. Fred was so nice and knowledgable, I cannot recommend this company enough.
