Our family used Randy's (Ability) plumbing services for nearly 7 years. This year we decided to hire another plumber to meet our service expectations. This year Randy was hired to install a wall heater. The job was completed below a satisfactory level. Randy failed to properly install the heater per the instructions provided in the manual. He installed the heater an inch away from the door frame. For safety reasons the heater was required to be installed 4 inches from the door frame. He damaged the wall by cutting into it unnecessarily. Randy is NOT a carpenter. The damages Randy caused were easily avoidable. He should have stopped working when he realized that work outside of his scope of practice was needed. Unfortunately, Randy is unprofessional, and a poor quality plumber. He arrives late, often times speaks to his customers rudely/sarcastic manner. He adds additional payments to previously payed invoices, and inflates prices to an absurd degree. I encourage you to seek plumbing service elsewhere. Hiring Randy is truly not worth the trouble. We are currently seeking out plumbing services from another company to repair damages other jobs he completed this year, thus spending twice the amount of money for one job. DO NOT HIRE THIS INCOMPETENT PERSON!!

I have known Randy from Ability Plumbing for years. We just bought an older home in Thousand Oaks and Randy was the first person we called to come take a look at the 1950's plumbing. The best part is my wife calls Randy as well when she see's a problem happening.

Randy, the owner, was totally professional, courteous, honest, and knows what he's doing. He fixed a toilet and a bad leak under my sink that my usual plumber said could only be fixed by replacing the sink.
He was even kind and friendly with my young son.
