Quick, responsive, quick, affordable AND honest! Unlike one of the large, well-advertised plumbing company in the area.
Walking around the basement, I felt moisture on my feet...oh no! I checked the washer, water heater - both were dry. The leakage seemed to be from behind the wall - great...I quickly surmised it was going to cost some $$$.
My wife call one of the well-advertised plumbing company in the area - and I thought the estimate was too high and unrealistic as the ""sales"" representative stated a backhoe was going to be needed to access the source pipes from the outside...without even looking for the source of the leak. Second call/estimate was Abe - we sent a picture of the leaking area and he stated he knew the problem/source. He came after a few hours of the call (due to our schedule), accessed the issue wall and found the source of the leak. It was NOT from the outside of the house, but rather an old valve.
So instead of calling one of the larger plumbing companies, give Abe's Plumbing a call - you will not regret making the call.

Abe was great! He came out same day to assess the issue I was having with an improper re-installation of my bathroom pedestal from my previous plumber which was leaking at the connection b/n the faucet and the trap. We decided to replace it w/ a new vanity to set the connection properly. And while he was at the house I was having a new kitchen refrigerator delivered and he noticed a problem with the existing waterline hookup that he also fixed!

He was very professional and polite, and his prices are very reasonable. I'll be calling him again to hook up my kitchen sink and dishwasher after my new countertops get installed.

I had a toilet seal leak. Abe was there in one hour and fixed it in 30 minutes. Professional, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and reasonably well-priced. No upsell, no commission, just quality service. Highly recommended!

OMG - Abe is an incredible plumbing professional who fixed an incredibly stupid shower plumbing mistake for a ""new"" stand up shower in our 1939 basement -- problem of course behind a wall caused by a contracting company I can't name because we had to settle - no lie.

It was a complex enough problem and LOCATION that Abe had to improvise and make pieces to make it work...test it....fix again...test it...finally got their stupid handiwork fixed - then cut new wood pieces to hold the joint steady in the wall. My point -- he is outstanding - creative and fixes the problem. On time. Has the pieces on his truck - can solder on site -- was done in about an hour. We finally have use of this ""new"" shower after 9 months thanks to him. Hope you'll call him for your plumbing needs.

Pics included: 1) the shower ""arm"" improperly screwed in by the contractor -in bent/not aligned - caused a permanent leak at the valve joint and we couldn't unscrew it to redo ourselves. 2) Had to approach from the back of the wall with three pieces of mismatched wood holding the new pipe in place. 3) they used cheap plastic piping....he switched to more stable/good copper and 4) soldered it to the coupling - no leak. THEN - 4) he had another shower arm and installed it for us! no additional trip to the hardware store (!) and 5) also fixed another stupid mistake by the contractor where the shower handle was loose.

Incredible. Call him.

Takeaways:
- His demeanor was rude for no discernable reason.
- His service didn't solve or correctly diagnose the problem.

Rudeness:
I'll start with the rudeness. At the end of the service, he said ""Now, make me a check"" in a gruff tone. I'm quoting verbatim. There's not reason for people to speak to each other like that - just none at all. I don't mind paying people for good work. I snaked the drain twice and was happy to have a ""professional"" on the job! Toxic masculinity.

Misdiagnosis:
For $375, he put 35-feet of snake down my kitchen sink. I had snaked 25-feet myself. He misdiagnosed a gurgling drain and wanted to pass me off to another plumber for a roof vent inspection. So basically no value, here.

The next plumber:
I called a larger outfit who did a hydrojet + a camera inspection for $575. This provided a thorough cleaning of the pipes and also a correct diagnosis of the problem, which was a bend in the pipes.

An extra $200 for a hydro service and a chance to actually see the problem is a no brainer. I'd just go with a larger service.

Oh, and he entered the drain pipe through the P trap, and the spinning action of the snake scratched away the edging of the pipe, so it leaked without plumbers putty. So he damaged the p-trap. The solution to this is attached a temporary 45-deg attachment to the P-trap, so the snake entered directly inline with the pipe entrance. I paid for the second plumber to rebuild the P-trap, also.

Abe is the best. I will never use a big plumbing company again. He answers his phone when you call and is very quick to come out. He comes when he says he will. He's done several repairs for us now, and each one has been perfect. He is straight forward with his prices, which are fair. We are very happy with Abe's services and will definitely call him the next time something goes wrong.

Abe does it again. This is the second time I've had Abe out but this time for a clogged pipe.

I will only use Abe! Here's why:

First, he's the most punctual contractor I have ever had. I called him at 8:26 on Saturday morning, and he was here by 9:15.

Second, he's upfront and quickly diagnoses the problem. From his truck, he grabbed all of his needed supplies which included tarps to line my floor so his tools didn't damage my kitchen floor, and since he was using a snake, the yuckiness also didn't get to my floor. I've noticed this each time he's out that he makes a concerted effort to take care and not cause damage or create a mess which I am grateful for.

Third, his pricing is upfront. Some might consider his price a bit high but keep in mind he's punctual and doesn't waste time. Also, he's direct and doesn't try to upsell. Finally, his fee is for the job and not based on how long he spends, so he's not looking to milk time. Plumbers I've used in the past had a fee to come out and diagnose and then billed a separate hourly fee. They would then spend too much time diagnosing and solving the issue. Abe is old school and not trying to get over on you.

This is why I call Abe when I have an issue. Also, I don't think I've seen a bad review for him, so with that many awesome reviews, it should be a no-brainer.

Called Abe and he was able to come out the same day! He installed a new kitchen faucet in record time and the price was so reasonable! Thank you Abe!

I called Abe at 1:45 on a Sunday to see if he could fix my leaky pipe. By 2:40, my pipe was fixed and he was out the door.

I had called Len the Plumber earlier in the day but I sent them home after getting the quote. They didn't have the right part on their truck and their quote seemed high. Abe had the right replacement on hand and charged less than half of Len.
