I chanced an early morning 7am call to Abe and was pleased when he picked up (I wouldn't have blamed him for telling me to get lost that early). I explained my problem with a clogged kitchen sink drain, and he said he would be able to come by that morning. The drain needed to be snaked. (As I suspected.) He was upfront and fair about pricing. He was there by quarter to 8, and the drain was clear and fixed by 8:30. He was a real pro and a pleasure to work with. Definitely calling Abe again.

Called on a Tuesday and he was able to come that Saturday since we couldn't be home on a weekday that week. He came as promised, got a difficult job (an outside hose bib that wouldn't shut off) done and identified another serious issue we had with our pressure valve. Quoted us a price for the second job and we asked him to do it on the spot. He explained things very clearly to us, worked quickly and cleaned up the work area before leaving. I'm very happy to have found such an excellent and reliable plumber nearby.

I thought I would need some major plumbing repair since we had two toilets and a kitchen sink back up at the same time. Called Abe, who listened to our description of the problem, asked for a couple of pictures, and explained what was going on in very clear and easy to understand terms. Turns out the problem was a clog that had cleared itself out and no additional snaking was needed. He gave some advice on how to prevent it and what to do if a similar problem happens again. Thanks to Abe we saved a lot of money on unnecessary work! I'll be going to him for all of my plumbing needs from now on.

I discovered a bad leak coming from my upstairs bathroom into my kitchen around 11 pm last night. I called Abe early this morning and he got to my house in under two hours, quickly found the source of the leak (a bad shower handle cartridge), and easily fixed it. While he was on site, he also replaced another bad cartridge for me in another shower that was not adjusting properly between hot and cold water. I don't know much about plumbing. Abe was patient with my questions, did the repairs quickly, and even showed me a few things I could do myself in the future. I would definitely call him again. My qualm was that he doesn't reseal the shower handles that were removed from the wall, so I have to do that myself. But he fixed the leak, which is what I called him about so I'm happy!

Noticed water dripping into a downstairs room when toilet flushed above it and called Abe on a Tuesday morning. He couldn't come that day but was able to come the next afternoon when an appointment opened up and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem.

While he was at the house, I also asked him to look at some leaky shower faucets. Much of my plumbing is old (house is 60 years plus), but Abe was able to fix things with some effort.

Less than a week later, I noticed my water turnoff value was leaking with dripping around handle and gave Abe a call. Again, he was able to squeeze me in and was able to fix things, even though spaces in which he had to work
were very tight. I was really glad to get this done, so that there wouldn't be some later disaster involving main water pipe coming into the house.

Abe does a great job, and I highly recommend him. He is very clear in explaining what needs to be done, will answer your questions, and gives you a firm price.

Abe has been at this for a while and knows what he is doing. I'd much rather go with him than one of the local plumbing chains (which seem expensive as they always seem to find ways to add cost to their job). He'll get the job done.
