Kyle R.The home warranty company gave their numbers to arrange an appointment. Left 3 different messages over 5 days. No call back and no one answers the phone except for the answering machine. They shouldn't be in business considering some of calls are emergency like water leak. I would give minus rating if I could.
Erica L.Scheduling nightmare! I was assigned through my home warranty. I took Abe's plumbing 3 days to respond just to schedule an apt 2 1/2 weeks out. I received the text it was confirmed. I waited my 4 hour window & no one came. When I called the front desk I was told they had called me the day before to cancel. I have no record of a missed call or voicemail. Obviously I was annoyed & rather than be kind, the scheduler got mad at me & just repeated protocol to reschedule. I opened up that my grandmother had just passed away & I was making every effort to be professional & also abide by my apt time. I was SHOCKED with the way she spoke to me, especially after hearing that I was in a family emergency & hadn't received her supposed voicemail.
With no other options, I rescheduled for an apt next week. Our shower head has been leaking for months & I really need it fixed. Now I am just super anxious about the plumbers professionalism considering the manager's means of just cancelling an apt with no notice.
Andrizee F.I had a great experience with this company. After working with 2 other plumbers prior to Abe's plumbing, Abe's Plumbing was the only one who was able to repair our bathtub's overflow which previously leaked water into the ceiling below, but now works like a charm. Thank you!
Erica M.Do not trust this company if you are assigned to them by your home warranty company. We had a leak in our wall and a broken garbage disposal. The technician fixed a seal to stop the leak and promised to come back with the new garbage disposal. But, the leak wasn't fixed so we called the receptionist (Jessica) for a return visit. She informed us that the technician marked the job as complete and that we could not get any additional service without calling our home warranty company. But, without the paperwork for the technician, which he neglected to turn in, our home warranty company was unable to send someone else out for our continuing leak.
We have had some great service professionals with our home warranty company and some bad apples...make sure to check yelp before allowing the bad apples into your home :(
Almost one month after reporting a red-tagged water heater via my home warranty company, still waiting for the tech from Abe's Plumbing to ""finish his report."" This company is a joke. Avoid them at all costs.
WORST BUSINESS I'VE EVERY WORKED WITH!
Do NOT hire these people! The reviews are accurate and consistently the same...terrible. I wish I would have looked them up beforehand, but I wrongly trusted my home warranty company.
If I could give the 0 or NEGATIVE stars, I would.
Office staff is rude, non-responsive, refuses to take responsibility for their actions, doesn't return calls (had to use various other phones or block my # for them to answer my calls) and tell you what you want to hear, in spite of it not being true.
Technician seemed like a nice guy, but removed and disposed of our water heater without having a replacement in hand. Then left a cut line open so we had NO water at all in our home. Took the better part of two days to get water back into our house. No apology, no acceptance of responsibility...just blaming other people.
Go elsewhere...Do NOT use Abe's Plumbing!!!

We were assigned Abe's Plumbing by our home warranty. The tech (Javier), came, assessed the problem and called our home warranty. He then came back to us and said our home warranty would only cover a patch fix and not replacing the pipe. He said he would recommend replacing the pipe and gave us a retail price. We wanted the problem fixed as this leak had resulted in the growth of toxic black mold. We tried calling the home warranty but were on hold for 2 hours and Javier said he couldn't wait around. We needed the leak fixed so I said to go ahead. When I got ahold of the home warranty later that day they said they would have covered pipe replacement but Javier did not say that was indicated. Now that we had paid retail, home warranty couldn't refund us. I called Javier - he was quick to hang up on me. I called the main office, they skirted the issue. I called again asking to speak with a supervisor and was told they would not issue a refund. A supervisor never came on the phone to speak with me or address this extortion. A COMPLETE SCAM. We will report them to the Better Business Bureau. I gave two stars because they did fix the leak but they are dishonest and cheat the system and clients.
Chris G.This company was selected by our home warranty company to address a leak on some hot water piping at the outlet of our hot water heater. Their technician completed the repair and told my wife it was 'all done, good to go'.
My wife then called me up to say the hot water flow was very low in the house. When I got home I found the technician had left the water supply to the hot water isolated but the hot water heater and recirculation pump was left on. When I opened up the water supply to the hot water heater there was banging and hammering and the recirculation pump was noisy until I purged air out of the system from the highest faucet in the house.
This technician did not check his work. I suspect he has caused damage to my hot water heater - they do not like to be run part filled with no water supply.
I called them up and left a message to complain about the shoddy work and did not receive a call back.
Based on my experience and judging from the other reviews on this site I would not allow this company to do work in my house again.
Stay away from this company. I was assigned by my Home Warranty company for a kitchen faucet leak. They came out to tell me that the warranty did not cover. I waited for weeks for no resolution to my leak. I should have checked my contract of coverage to begin with. That is my mistake, but they still took the $75 service fee from my Home Warranty company from my pre-payment. When I asked about a refund, they said they still charged for the fact that they did come out to my house. This is ridiculous as many companies do come out for a free assessment in general. As a matter of fact, I called Sage Plumbers after that, and they came out, fixed my leak within 15 minutes and did not charge me a dime as they said that was such a small job.
Do not work with this company. We had an issue and our home warranty company sent them for us to use. It took a day for them to come out, not a problem. Julio called ahead of time like he was supposed to. Once he got here is where it all went south. He said he needed to put in a clean out under my sink because the snake couldn't make the turn. He said he could do it for $300-$400. You don't EVER put clean outs inside at all. He also was supposed to inspect the garbage disposal. He turned it on, said it sounded fine, and turned it off. He never even looked down the sink to inspect it. He went out to make a call and I called my warranty company because it didn't make sense. They said he told them my house didn't have any clean outs at all so he would have to install them. He never even asked if I had clean outs outside, which I do. You can even clearly see them in the garage which is directly below us. After I talked to him about it he got defensive and walked away back to his truck so I figured that would be the end of that. He decided to then 20 minutes later come up to my door and start telling me why I am wrong and I shut the door because I wasn't going to have someone yell at me outside my own house.
