I started Abel Plumbing back in 2011 following 14 years of experience with different plumbing and heating companies in Albuquerque. I was eager to create a company that focused on our customers' needs and provided the freedom to make them happy. We are committed to service at Abel Plumbing.
I began my plumbing journey at the age of seven working for my father's land development company in the Estancia Valley. I was involved in running water utility lines and plumbing wells, a task I continued until I left home after graduating high school. I then embarked on an apprenticeship in HVAC and plumbing and spent 14 years working for several large companies in Albuquerque. In 2011, I concluded it was time to stop working for someone else and launched my own company. Now, rather than reporting to a single boss, I have over 1,900 customers who I serve. It brings me joy to wake up each morning and work for you. We would be honored to have the chance to work for you.

Royal did a great job for us. The main water line into our house leaked and they had it fixed in one day. They even hauled off the old pipes. Kyle, the Service Manager, double checked everything inside and out before he left. We will certainly use them again and recommend them to our friends!

Do Not Use Royal Plumbing!! They did a call on my neighbors house and dug up her sidewalk. Everything they dug up they then put in my yard, dirt, rocks and concrete all over the place. When I called and talked to the owner Mark he was
extremely rude and told me it wasn't his problem and that I needed to talk to my neighbor. I had to do all the cleanup and also had to call the city to have them come fix the sidewalk and sweep the street of all the debris this unprofessional company left behind!

I thought it was just that my pilot light on HW heater went out, but there was some water leakage too. Turns out, there was a crack, water leaking and THAT was putting out the pilot light. Marco from TLC rapidly diagnosed that I needed to replace my HW heater, got the estimate to me, and ordered needed materials. Marco applied the senior discount as I requested without needing a reminder. The morning after materials were delivered to TLC, Marco returned along with Alec to get the install completed. Both Marco and Alec were a pleasure to have help me. They appear to have done a great job with the installation, and reviewed use and warranty information before heading home for the day. I am very happy with the service provided by Marco and Alec, and am SO happy to have hot water again!

Phenomenal Service. We just purchased a home and moved to Santa Fe, NM. We talked with another HVAC company at the time of purchase. But TLC was far beyond other HVAC companies I have used over the years. They were timely, courteous, professional, extremely knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and most importantly... honest. They did not try to sell me on things not needed. Because of this, I will use them over and over and recommend them to others. It's rare. The technician who came to my house was Tim N. He was extremely knowledgeable, honest, frank, and had more background than I have encountered by other people in this field. Ask for Tim by name. You won't regret it. It was a very positive experience. TLC is tops in the field for me and has my highest recommendation.

These guys absolutely suck! Do not call them. We had an issue with our boiler. They sent two guys out that did not listen to what the problem was. They fiddle around for 20 minutes. Then they just called the tech support for the boile. The guy told them what it was. They told me verbatim what the tech support guy said. Charged me $175. They said they would get me a cost for the part and the labor to fix it. That was 4 days ago. We have called them every day. The keep promising but nothing happens.
They wanted more than a brand new boiler would cost to fix it.
Watch your wallet, if you call these guys!
Once upon a time you paid someone when the actually did something, these guys did nothing and still expected $175

Carlos and Santiago arrived on time and did a fantastic job renovating our fireplace. Price was more than fair too. Recommend highly.

I have used TLC for the last 25 years for plumbing issues as well as turning swamp
Cooler and heat on and off. Three members of my family also use TLC. On November 13th I had my heat turned on. The technician did as was required, set the thermostat for 69 degrees and left. Never checked thermostat further. A day later I tried to raise temperature and couldn't. I called TLC and operator told me she would have technicians call me. They never did. I called again and was told someone would come out on Tuesday between 8am and 5pm. They would not give a 4 hour window as they usually did.this was on Friday. I called back on Monday after having no heat all weekend because thermostat shut down. I was told if I wanted to pay $200.00 they would come out that day. The operator was rude and said I don't want to argue with you. If you don't want to pay we'll see you on Tuesday"". She then hung phone up on me. This is no way to treat a long time customer and you can be sure neither I nor my family and friends will be using them again. The problem was solved by another company who only charged for a service call and it was a matter of a small adjustment. TLC has gotten too big for its britches. I paid $170.00 the least they could have done was follow-up.

We needed help to resolve an issue with our boiler, and with the cold weather upon us, we needed some prompt attention. Thomas V. arrived early, was able to diagnosis the problem in a timely manner, and resolved the problem in a very professional and courteous manner. The boiler is working great; and just in time. We appreciate the service we have received from TLC over the years, and acknowledge Thomas as a very skilled technician.

TLC really came through, replacing a leaking water heater on a ridiculously snowy day in Santa Fe (11/7/24). Sergio and Ivan were neat, efficient, knowledgeable and responsive, replacing the water heater in just a few hours and even partially in a power outage due to the extreme weather. Highly recommend!
