I called ABC plumbing after reading some reviews on yelp, I had a technician come out. The technician seemed pretty knowledgeable about clearing out a kitchen drain that was draining slowly and a laundry sink drain that was draining slowly. Over the course of the next few hours I saw an experience something completely different than the reviews that I read. The technician spent a good hour charging his battery while he seemed to walk around aimlessly and explain to me that his battery was dead for his drill that he needed (glad I could help pay for this) not sure if the fact that he only had two more days with this company before he was going elsewhere had anything to do with this but it sure felt like it. The technician left my residence without solving one of the issues in the laundry room, I was told that a manager would be contacting me. This never happened! Stay away from this company!

Recently had to call the plumber again for another toy situation that we couldn't handle ourselves and had to call again a month later due to a ceiling leak underneath a bathroom. From my previous experience I called ABC plumbing. Larry came out on both occasions this time. He was quick, knowledgeable and resolved the problems. I am once again very happy with the service.

Had a leak off the water main and ABC was the only company that came out today (Labor Day) to check it out. Joe fixed it on the spot. No hassle $350 water main repair in an hour.

Joe was great. He explained what the problem was and how he could fix it. His explanation matched up with the City's explanation of how it could be fixed. Other plumbers said the whole line needed to be replaced at a cost of $1,000+.

I contacted this company because a four plex rental had the main line to the street blocked. They charged me $127 to go out and remove the block. 3 Days later the manager of the four plex called to say the sewage was still flowing out into the yard. I called the city and they went out and said the blockage was not on the street side, but on the property side and they would help clear it but they advised a private plumber should be on site, so I called ABC Plumbing back and explained the line was still clogged, so they agreed to go back out and work with the city to unclog it. It turns out that it was clogged by a lot of baby wipes, that had apparently had been there for a long time. ABC Plumbing charged me another $127 to go out the second time, I don't think I should have to pay for another visit when they didn't clear the clog on the first visit. Clearly the baby wipes, were the original problem and could have been cleared the first time. Their explanation was that they didn't guarantee their service. I will not use them again.

I know with all the 5 stars people are thinking this is the company writing. This review should have happened 10 months ago when they did the work but I remember it all well. David the Plumber and Bill the heater/ac guys are really the best. They go the extra mile. They give fair quotes and do more than other companies. Bill and David helped me when I had a mold issue. The first plumber wouldn't even go down where the mold was. The second plumber was honest and fair but couldn't determine the leak. David and Bill came out and figured out it was AC unit over 50 years old which was leaking. Another plumber agreed. Turned out ABC was the one who had installed it 50 years ago! ( found their sticker on the old unit underneath). Bill and David tried to warn me that the mold guys were giving me scare tactics ( I had numerous companies overlapping giving estimates on a bunch of items). Bill and David helped reduce the moisture and thus reduced more damage by carrying the wet rug up and out of the basement before I even hired them because they knew the mold guys were just scaring me. It's been almost a year since they replaced my ancient HVAC and water heater but I have had no problems with them. They are my go to team. They beat out Bonney Plumbing who were rude and arrogant and Bell Brothers who were nice, but a little too expensive and too slick. They've already called to come see how everything is doing before the year was up as they promised free of charge. They always worked around my schedule! Love those guys.
