Why didn't I check Yelp before I contacted this company? I fell for their constant commercials on TV, so the only thing they are good at is marketing. """"Consider it done"""" is their slogan and that is a scam, it is just the opposite. I hired them to do a regular maintenance on my air conditioning unit. This was on a Friday. I needed a special filter for our system, so the technician said he would order it and install it on Monday and he told me the time he would arrive. He did not arrive, despite the fact that I spoke to the dispatcher and he kept telling me he was on his way. That was a lie and he never showed up. During the period of three weeks, 4 more appointments were made, whereby they would even call in the morning to confirm the appointment. No one ever showed up. I called several times to inquire on why no one came and I was told different stories and I even called their customer service department and they didn't even call me back to give me the status. They even took to such lies, that all of a sudden after 2 weeks of no-shows that the technician had been sick for the past 10 days. That information was never given to me before. To get an AC filter installed took 3 weeks which entailed of course staying home for each appointment and nobody showed up. I strongly suggest you don't use this company...you can NOT consider it done!

Requested service for a clogged kitchen sink. They told me they would be there that day. The tech (salesman) showed up a day later. He wan't even interested in working on the clog. He went thru my house making a list of other issues. Told me the shut-off valves on my washer needed to be replaced, the water line under my master bathroom sink is leaking and should be replaced and a couple of other issues. I told him I called for a clogged sink and and that all the services i was interested in. He then disappears and I found him 20 minutes later in his truck. I approached him and asked what is going on and he tells me is creating a quote. Again I told him I just need my sink unclogged. He then proceeds to tell me it would be $550 and tried to get me to sign up with some program that would save me $100 on this repair. I fell to my knees $550 to attempt to unclog a sink. He stated well we don't know how deep down the leak is. I said you don't know anything because you didn't even touch the sink all you did was walk around my house trying to upcharge for a bunch of services i didn't ask for. He then proceeds to tell me I owe $59 for the service call. I asked him to leave and told him I was not paying for a salesman to come out to my house and not perform the service. I also ask what kind of plummer is dressed in a pressed white shirt and dress pants with polished shoes?

They canceled on us 4x. twice when they had said they were on their way, the 4th time nobody told us & we were waiting. Now on day 8 of the house being in the 90s. We had told them we have foster pets, our own, I'm a Behavior Analyst who had to cancel my appts to get this resolved so it's affecting my patients/clients as well. Plus, I let them know I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which inhibits my body from regulating its own temperature- but they just spit in our faces. now they want us to wait 2 more days, but we're going elsewhere. Nos cancelaron 4 veces. 2 veces cuando ya habian avisado q estaban en camino, la cuarta vez nadie nos dijo y estábamos esperando. Ahora estamos en día 8 de la casa estando en los 90s. Les habíamos dicho que tenemos mascotas adoptivas, las nuestras, soy una Analista d Comportamentos y tuve q cancelar las citas con mis pacientes por esto, y que yo tengo el síndrome de Ehlers Danlos, que impide que mi cuerpo regule su propia temperatura, pero simplemente nos escupieron en la cara. ya quieren q esperemos 2 dias mas, pero ya vamos con otra compañia.

Seminole Florida homeowner sought water heater quote. The reservationist on the phone and the website did not indicate that there would be a fee of any kind for an estimate or I would not have had this company come into my home. The estimate was provided quickly and when we elected not to go with the estimate I was presented a $59 service call fee. I was hopeful that this would be the company I would be using for all my plumbing needs but I know better to read reviews more closely. I would recommend asking this question before you allow a technician from any contractor to step into your home. Lesson learned.

Do not use these crooks!!!! My 72 year old mother was given an estimate on 5/22/2020 of $11,904 to replace her entire air conditioning unit (for her 800 sq ft condo). Someone came out today and fixed it. The part was $7 and the labor was $90. Total of $97.00 and her air is as good as new! I called to request a refund of the $89.00 estimate my Mom had to pay and McKayla refused to issue a refund stating the estimate is only waived if you sign to have the work done that day. These crooks tried to take complete advantage of a 72 year old woman who was there alone. I have a call into consumer lawyer Eric Sidel. If they did this to my Mom....they are doing it to other people. This could have been rectified by issuing the refund for the bogus estimate.....but McKayla refused and had the audacity to tell me to CALM DOWN. I'm pretty sure if someone tried to screw over their mother or father...they would be mad too. This is NOT okay. I will take this as far as I can to protect the elderly population out there getting taken advantage of by ABC AIR!

ABC... A Bunch of Crap! It started in July 2021, the compressor on our AC unit died. As a result, we called around for estimates and ABC seemed to be the best deal with 0% interest for financing and one day service*. This was extremely important because again it was July, and we live in Florida! Pay attention to the asterisk. I repeat the asterisk is important... we have and continue to go through the motions with this company. July 2021: took a week to install *Friday, 07/09/2021: the pitch...we selected a unit and install was set for the next day. We thought the salesman was being nice when he offered us a portable a/c unit to get through the night, but of course it was broken/ missing pertinent pieces to function properly. *Saturday, 07/10/2021: per install crew incorrect air handler was selected (single unit.) which would not fit in our attic, so a two-piece handler was needed. Being it was Saturday; we were told supply/ distribution center was closed. *Monday, 07/12/2021: install begins, one of the installers was electrocuted by a wire in attic...operation ceased. Call their supervisor and was instructed to wait for an electrician within their company to come out to see what was going on. He was fine by the way just shocked. *Tuesday, 07/13/2021: electrician came out cleared for the guys to start again. Missing heat kit for the unit, backordered. Refrigerant low and did not have any in truck. *Thursday, 07/15/2021: Installed heat kit and refilled refrigerant. They left their portable unit, ugh! Finished? Not quite...More asterisks November 2021: Warranty calls *Now it's Fall, and we began to experience issues with or unit. We have had to place several calls out the ABC for the same issue. After using the heater, the compressor will not come on once you try to switch the unit to cool. Calls made on: 11/11/2021, 11/20/2021, 1/7/2022 all outcomes provided different answers to problem. Labeled warranty calls. Mind you the warranty on their work is only good for the first year. December 2021: Inspection *The salesman in July stated to us that their work would need to be inspected and had us fill out a permit permission form to do so. He informed us that ABC would get in contact with us to schedule an appointment for this to be completed. On December 15, 2021, we received an email stating, """"Please be advise that the permit...Air conditioning is set to expire. Expired permits can incur fines."""" WHAT?! No one from ABC had every reached out prior to the December 15. *12/20/2021: Inspection FAILED!!! Unit too low in pan, Copper wiring needing caps/plugs, a wire being smaller than what is required. January 2022: Inspection issues *1/7/2022: While calling in yet again for the Warranty issue previously mentioned In November. I also, inquired about the inspection results... made an appointment to fix these issues. *1/11/2022: appointment was set for morning. Now I will say they did call stating they were behind, but someone would get out to fix the inspection failures. The service technician arrived at 6:49pm and was still unable to complete all the inspection issues. On top of that, more issues were noticed. *24/7 Service is a joke. If you are not willing to pay for the service call (which they all noted once they did come, fell under our warranty) they will not come out right away. They pass your information over to the morning crew who then calls over each other to schedule a technician to come out. To be continued...

Get second opinion.. we were told we needed a new ac unit. Second opinion and all we needed was a capacitor...scam!

Needed a needed a new toilet installed for my home and relied upon """"2021 Pinellas County Florida Five Star Rated"""" by Home Services Review for a vetted plumber. ABC was among the list of recommended plumbers in the area. I'm not sure who vetted them, but they are unethical. Plumber came to my house and offered me multiple options, all of which were very expensive. We agreed upon ABC installing a specific toilet that it would provide for $1,035. (This was the discounted price!) The installation was to take place the next day. The plumber didn't arrive, nor did he call, the next day. I called ABC and they did nothing. The plumber didn't arrive the next day, or the day after. It took FIVE DAYS for the plumber to arrive with NO TOILET. At this point, my family and I were desperate to solve this issue. ABC and I verbally agreed that I would purchase a toilet for the plumber to install. Plumber finally arrived, installed the toilet and told me after the installation that the adjusted price would be $677. This was not an agreed upon price; it was adjusted based on what ABC thought was appropriate. This was not on the contract. And what ABC charges is not in line with what multiple other plumbers (including Lowe's toilet installation) have quoted me. ABC is predatory. They prey on seniors who rely on vetted services from Home Services Review. If Home Services Review had actually """"done the research,"""" they would see that dozens of Florida residents have been scammed by ABC. DO NOT USE ABC. They rely on customers not understanding what their rights are and use unethical tactics and intimidation to get more than what is fair market value for the services they provide.

The first time I called them, they lost my appointment. They rescheduled for the next day. Replaced capacitor in outside HVAC unit. I paid them $47 to become a """"member"""". With some perks. The next time I called them was to swap out a kitchen faucet. The plumber was inexperienced. For some odd reason, he disconnected the hot water connection to the dishwasher. Cold water ran out. He asked if I used cold water to do my dishes!! To swap out the faucets, it took two hours (!), and with the discount I was charged $500!!!! Their prices are outrageous even for those of us who paid the $47 to be a """"member"""". Today (June 23, 2022) I called because I needed two outside faucets replaced. The representative sounded like she was calling from Mars. The connection kept breaking up. After more than eight minutes of giving my information so she could verify my account, I asked to talk to her supervisor. There was no supervisor on duty!! C'mon. Any time a business is open there has to be a supervisor. This is NOT a local business. When you call their toll free number, you get some kind of national answering service. IN SHORT, DO *NOT* DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! CHOOSE A COMPANY THAT'S LOCAL. i wish I could give them a ZERO.

Stay away from this company, it's a scam. They wanna show up for $79 just to tell you that your unit is broken (duh). Then the first option for them to even begin to do work started at $1500. I have never met a more crooked unethical company. They want you to read their literature and try to add value by showing you all the pretty pictures of how they fix peoples equipment and want you to Buy in way beyond a reasonable solution. They are crooks. Over valued work for more than top shelf pricing. Caveat emptor. Call anyone except these people. I threw 79 bucks out the window for absolutely nothing. I would rate them a zero if I could but that was not an option!!
