Disappointment turns into very satisfied customer and job well done. We still have to paint but the trim looks fabulous and the floors are recovered. On another note, I feel confident that any issues we had will be used for training to avoid further mishaps. And I would have any of the workers back in my home again. Should say will. Planning the next project now.

Do not use ABC for Pest Control or Lawn Care! They actually sprayed roundup on my lawn and killed the grass around my house and fence line. I called them several times and even sent pictures. Never got an apology, or what can we do to fix this. All I got was a bill in the mail. Really??? I am very disappointed. I didn't think they would do a customer like this. I decided to cancel both services and get a company that actually cares about their customers. Learn from my mistake, do not use them.

We had James Goldston and his crew of Jorge and Ignacio put down a Turf lawn in our backyard. They did an outstanding, professional job of integrating into our landscaping. See for yourself! Highly recommend these guys!!

Fantastic staff, especially Dan the handyman. We hired ABC to do several things for our house over the years that we've owned it -- electrical, plumbing, and some drywall/painting/floorboard fixes. They are professional, reliable, and do really great work. This spring Dan helped us for several days and he was awesome and went out of his way for us. Highly recommended across the board.

I've used ABC for over ten years for pest control. Last year I had compost put on my yard and was very pleased. However, this year the application in my flower beds was more of a light dusting similar to powdered sugar. But I was later contacted and offered a redo which was completed today. Looks great and it's evenly applied! I realize that mistakes can happen even with the best companies and I am thrilled that ABC cares enough about their customers to follow through with corrective measures! Thank you guys!

Last week I had ABC come out to aerate and apply mulch to my yard. The aeration process accidentally broke a marked sprinkler head. I called and ABC, in their typical fashion, quickly acknowledged the mistake and set up a fast, free repair. That got done today. This is why I have used ABC for years and will continue to use them for all my home needs.

This is an update of a review I had written previously. I had been disappointed how ABC Pest Control handled a quote on a new home we are moving to. We have been a customer of ABC for 38 years, all in our current home in Austin. I had hoped they would take into account how long we've been a customer when they quoted a price for a pest control at the new home. Initially, they didn't--the person I talked to would only quote the programs currently offered, not giving us credit for being a long term account. Not getting anywhere, I closed the call.

Today I was contacted by an upper manager at ABC, explaining that it was very important to them that we had been a customer for that long. He was very cordial and understanding, thanked us for our loyalty, and we reached agreement on a pest control contract for our new home in Georgetown. Our price didn't stay the same, but I didn't expect it to. I'm happy that he reached out to show us we aren't a number and that ABC is the same old friendly company we have been happily using since 1981.

ABC has handled the service for my Mosquito Misting System for several years, and has done an excellent job. The company who installed the "Mist Away" system in 2005 went out of business a couple of years later, and ABC has handled the system maintenance and all repairs since the summer of 2008. In all that time, I've only had two "route" technicians involved. The first young man was eventually promoted to a supervisory/management position, but the replacement tech (Ryan) is every bit as professional, efficient, thorough and personable as his predecessor.
The routine service is performed and billed quarterly, at a competitive price. Occasionally, I have to pay for a new nozzle, or a new piece of tubing or pipe to replace dog or contractor damage, but those charges are reasonable and are always thoroughly explained at the time of service. I highly recommend ABC for mosquito misting systems !

I was contacted by a senior member of management after my initial review, and, admittedly, I hesitated to respond. I can also admit that I am glad I did. It was obvious that he'd spent a lot of time reviewing my specific complaint, and he was prepared to resolve it. In the end, all work was done, as promised, and I'm not sure that more wasn't done - just to make sure we are satisfied. I think there was some internal issues to overcome, but it's early in their mow season. I am just glad they were willing to make it right.

The time this gentleman spent discussing the situation made me realize that, although a big business, they are still a family run operation. Our conversation had that "family feel" to it. Bottom line - I am pleased with the outcome, and I am grateful they took the time to make it right. I didn't make it a 5-star, perfect experience, but it is as close as they could get, especially given the obstacles they had to overcome. Thanks, Mr. Martin!

We found out a week ago that we needed to replace our AC and furnace. It's a big purchase! We called a couple of companies for quotes. Mark Hogan from ABC was on time, friendly, professional, and honest. He had lots of helpful information to share, and great paperwork and info packet to help us understand what we needed and what we were looking at. It was a very hard decision, and we ended up going with another company. Even though it's not the same as earning commission, I wanted to make sure to give him a good review and let others know that my husband and I trusted him and thought he made a difficult process much easier.
