We went to Abballe when we were renovating a bathroom in our house. The owner seemed very accommodating and allowed us to customize our vanity with exactly how we wanted the drawers and cabinets to look. The problem was when it came it wasn't anything like he promised, and when we informed him of the issue he told us that he never said anything was customizable at all, as if we made up the whole conversation. I'm not sure if he is too senile to remember our discussions or if he is an outright lier, but stay away from this place as it's too expensive to not get what you pay for.

Incredibly helpful, caring friendly store. I bought a toilet and hot water faucet and they took the time to get me the best one, not trying to upsell me or take advantage. They gave me a generous discount for no reason at all. Highly highly recommend.

Rude worker wouldnt assist in accepting an unopened item back. Ultimately he relented, howevr, when we sought assistance to get the appropriate document the workers were dismissive and wouldnt help. Will not return. Plenty of other friendly plumbing stores in the area.

If I could give zero stars, I would! I walked in there looking for a part and the guy was so rude to me. My contractor needed a plumbing valve and gave it to me to show the people at this store and the guy asked me questions that I clearly didn't know the answer to but was so freaking rude I couldn't believe it. I went to another plumbing supply store and they were so nice and accommodating! I will never give this place my business nor refer anyone here. So much for supporting local businesses.

Well to say I was an hour late I called Sandro and he said it's okay. That's what happens when you have kids times isn't on your side. We got there and we went thru all the things we needed and compared styles, prices and explains everything. He has so much patience with me bc I didn't know exactly what I wanted. He went above and beyond. We finished 2 hours later and he stayed almost a hour after his store closed just for us to finish. I would recommend him to anyone who's looking for a honest place and very fair in price. This place is better than home depot . Place has a parking lot so easily located on hillside ave and close to queens and Long Island.

I was just inquiring on water filters. I was told repeatedly to go to the store, then I would be given the price. So 1980s. Who has time to go to somewhere that might provide you a service. Better to find an alternative.

My wife and I were lucky enough to work with Sandro for the fixtures in our master and guest bath renovation.

Sandro took the time to quote multiple options for us right out of the gate (do you know how many choices you have for facuets and handles?!) without batting an eye. On top of the time he took, the prices were the best quotes we received right off the bat.

Once we narrowed down our choices Sandro spent a solid two hours with us double checking things, making sure we had all the right valves, drains, etc, and then making some pretty solid suggestions about things like tub drain orientation, mounting options for hand showers, etc.

Never once did we feel rushed during those 2 hours. Sandro took a break from us only twice - one was what seemed like an important call on his cell phone, and the other to take a few minutes to explain installation of a specific part to a good customer of his.

Even better, when I came back in a few days later to pay and finalize the order, everything went very smoothly despite the fact that Sandro wasn't there! Angelo (Sandro's father) welcomed me in, and Val was able to pull my order up no problem. I know ""that's the way it's supposed to work"", but in all honesty it seems rare sometimes to see a shop operate so seamlessly.

We will definitely be back, and for sure they are our go to plumbing supply recommendation in the area.

Edit to Add: While we were with Sandro we saw a very nice 48"" vanity that we will be ordering. Great looking, great price, and much better quality than we have seen friends get from random (read, Wayfair) orders online.

We just finished a master bedroom/bathroom renovation. We went to Abballe for almost everything. And the whole experience was a pleasure. Val is expert and very trustworthy. He advised us and our bathroom looks great. Val is kind, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He made himself available to us throughout the process. Not only were things delivered on time, they were available ahead of time. His prices can't be beat. Would happily use him again.

We redid a bathroom and I went to Abballe for all but one of the plumbing supplies. Their selection, prices and customer service were wonderful. Val is very knowledgeable and makes helpful suggestions. One item was discontinued so I had to find it on the internet. I had nothing but problems with the internet item and delivery. Forget about ordering online, go to Abballe.
