I live in an adult community and this company is the one that was sent to me for a problem with my washer draining properly. This is a GREAT company, I got excellent service and the people who came were professional. I got every question answered, I was told about the piping in this community and it was an excellent service call. I would recommend this company to anyone who needed plumbing help!!!

I'm very pleased with ABAT Plumbing & Heating. I needed a bathroom faucet replaced. I had a ton of questions about the faucet and cloudiness of the water coming from the faucet that was installed in the other bathroom by a different plumber. They were very thorough with both faucets - easing my mind that nothing was wrong with my water, pipes or faucets. They did not charge extra for checking out the other bathroom. All ABAT's crew said that if I have any questions, I should contact them first before leaving a negative review. It's been a week or two and there have been no problems and so I didn't need to contact them and I'm leaving a positive review. I would recommend them for any plumbing needs.

Exactly what this other review said. We had a serious odor coming from our upstairs toilet for over a year with more than 3 different plumbers coming out to fix the problem. My wife found Abat on Home Advisor & the rest was history. Professional, respectful, very fair priced, & for my wife cleanliness is a must & these guys cleaned up after themselves like it was their own home! They got our seal of approval!

I called and spoke to Frank at Abat and told him my garbage disposal, a Badger 5, was leaking. This was the Monday before Christmas. I told him it was NOT an emergency but I wanted to get his time to repair it on my schedule, even if that meant after Christmas.

Frank quoted me $130 for the unit cost (Badger 500 from Home Depot) plus $220 labor. While I felt this was a little high on both counts, I agreed to his fee and he said he would come on Wednesday, 12/23, and would call me on Tuesday, the 22nd, to give me the time for Wednesday.

When I hadn't gotten a call from Frank by 7:30 PM on the 22nd, I called him and asked what time he'd be at my house on Wednesday. He told me his paperwork was in the car so please remind him of who I was and what I needed. After I did, I asked why he didn't call me as he said he would, and Frank got very defensive and said I should have called him and he was very very busy and had a bathroom to tile on Wednesday but would try to squeeze me in at 8:30 AM, maybe. His tone and defensiveness, added to the fact that he didn't seem to even remember agreeing to the job the day before troubled me. I also told him I could get the same disposal, without any contractor discount, directly from Home Depot for less than $107 including tax, and he got nasty with me about that saying he had the paperwork for the parts he kept in his truck and $130 was just his estimate and if I wanted the inconvenience of going to get the disposal myself be his guest. He then told me to call him on Wednesday to let him know what time I would be able to get the work done and if he had time he would try to do it.

For $350 I expected an appointment, follow up, a level of professionalism and to have the work done when promised. No way was I calling him back. I picked up the disposal myself and called a professional who scheduled an appointment for Saturday the 26 th at 10:00 AM, was in my kitchen promptly at that hour, and out by 10:31 after completing the work, cleaning up, and carrying away the garbage and old disposal. My cost for that? $160 for the labor, $107 for the disposal I purchased. $267 vs Abat's quote of $350.

I'd urge folks to think twice about this Frank from Abat. Maybe he's only friendly and professional when the spirit moves him?

Frank is very knowledgeable. He installed a new garbage disposal, ice maker line, and replace a shower cartridge. His job was excellent and price was fair. I would highly recommend Abat Plumbing to others.

Very nice guy and his quote seem reasonable. However it is very hard to get on his schedule for an appointment, so went with someone else.
