As you know Texas had a major event that has caused a shortage of plumbers. That event caused me to have have busted pipes. So due to the busted pipes I called Abacus to see when I could get a plumber to repair them. I understood I would have to wait in line for a plumber but I did expect a call to let me know when a plumber might be available. I waited a week and a half and as of today I have not received a call giving me any information. I have found a plumber and had the line repaired and knowing that it was the right thing to do I called a cancelled my place in line with your company. I would like to say that if I could think of your company and call Abacus to let them know I had the bust repaired Abacus could have giving me the same respect and called me to give me some information on when a plumber would be able to my house. I have used your company in the past and now with such poor customer service I will now rethink my calling you for any additional service. A simple phone call letting me know where I was in your line would have been very helpful. Here I was in a house with no water and no information on when or if your company was even going to come. In the future I hope your company shows more customer service and lets people know when they might except a person to show up for the repair requested.

Did great work! We continue to trust and use them for all plumbing issues in our home!!

Worst company. In light of the ice storm my pipes froze. I made an appointment online on 2/16 for 2/18, there were plenty of openings at that time. Recieved confirmation and everything, I have yet to see them and my latest update is they won't make it till early March. I'm fully aware of our city's situation and plumbers are busy but that's insane and incomprehensible to not be able to get to someone for several weeks. So sad and terrible way to do business. Stay away!!

Scheduled appointment online Tuesday morning and selected Friday using their online tool which showed plenty availability. Received confirmation immediately that they'd arrive between 9am-6pm Friday. Received several emails and text messages Wednesday and Thursday to confirm which I did. Friday at 3pm they called and said sorry but can't send anyone until maybe Thursday or Friday next week and they'd put me in waiting list. Not cool. I made appointment but they did nit honor it. I chose them as they are advertised on Michael Berry show but very disappointed that they left me hanging. If they had notified me earlier I would have been able to pursue other options. Terrible!!!!!

Had abbucus repair our kitchen sink (which we bought and supplied ) and had a new disposal put in which they supplied. $800.00 twenty minutes of work. Pretty pricey. Called them out to clean the ducts and dryer exhaust and they wanted $11,000.00 to replace the heater and coil, along with the dryer exhaust . Nothing wrong with our equipment. Turned them down and got another company to do what we wanted for $540.00 dollars. You do the math. They were going to pull perfectly working equipment and take advantage of us. Said if we didn't do the work our house could catch fire and burn down. The company that did the work showed us pictures of our ducts and said they were clean and only cleaned the return air, replaced the interior vents, and cleaned the dryer exhaust plus put in a UV light. Be very careful with this company, get a second bid!

I used Abacus services twice for two different reasons, both times on the same day. Both service reps came in trying to oversell me from the start. The first guy was asked to repair a closet light - instead he went straight to the garage electrical panel, removed all the screws to the cover and told me I needed to replace the entire electrical panel because it was made of cheap parts, estimate $9,000. The second guy came in to replace the toilet flapper in a hall bathroom. He said I needed to replace the entire toilet fixture, estimate $2,300. Same day! Nope. I will never EVER use or recommend Abacus for services, and when asked will relate this story for the rest of my life.

Unbelievably worst company ever! Don't believe what you hear about this plumbing company being the best! Charge twice what anyone else would, don't show up when they say they will. Customer service vey rude.

I scheduled an appointment online for 1/20/2021 for Abacus to find a water leak. Per Abacus' online form to fill out, I posted to their website a video explaining my plumbing problem, which was a hidden water leak causing a highly visible water stain on my first floor ceiling right below the upstairs master shower and vanity sink. I also posted a picture of the obvious water stain. The plumber who arrived had NOT looked at the video or picture. He had no idea of what the issue was before he arrived. When he arrived he did not have the right items to use for finding a leak. He had no large tarps to put under the ceiling where he cut out sheetrock, or plastic shields to prevent any water dripping onto by first floor bookcase near the ceiling leak. He stayed about an hour and could not find the source of the leak. He ultimately gave me the number for another company to call to find the leak! Oh, and I paid $126 for an Abacus Club Membership AND $367.71 for a "leak search" for a grand total of almost $500. And what I got was the diagnosis of "call another company to find the leak"! After my appointment someone from customer service called to ask how my experience was. I told the woman of my extreme dissatisfaction and she said she would bring it to the attention of upper management. It has been several days and no one from management ever called me about the "service" I paid for. I gave Abacus the lowest star rating I could. Abacus says a one star rating means "not good". "Horrible" would have been a more accurate description of my experience.

Charged me nearly $400 to remove old kitchen faucet and install new one which I had purchased elsewhere. Simple job. Way too expensive. Won't use again.

They made me wait all day just to be given an outrageous quote. I had the job done the next day with another electrical company for 1/3 the price. Worst customer service as well
