The worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. Ken wasted my time and caused great aggravation and stress for months as we sat with no heat in our home. He was hired by American Home Shield to repair my hvac, and said it needed replacement, which was correct. After he received the new unit from AHS he marked the job as completed and never installed it. A date was set more than once and he was a no show, not responding to calls or texts to say there was a problem. The only way to get him to pick up the phone was by calling AHS who would call him, then he would make a series of excuses including outright lies as to why he had not completed the job. I kept saying please let's get it done before winter sets in, but in the end it was not done by new years. After many long phone calls with AHS who seemed powerless to make him do the job, I cancelled my policy and hired a local company who did the instal one week later. This cost me a lot of money but in the end it was worth having it done by people who do these kinds of jobs all the time. But when I think of how he treated us and what we went through I am still livid. As you see from almost all the other reviews this is a pattern with him. I strongly recommend never working with him and I hope he stops doing business and saves people the aggravation.

My reviews will sound like all the rest. Hired by my home warranty. Multiple no shows and no communication. I've been with a busted AC for over a month and we're going into a heat wave. This company is terrible and I wouldn't feel comfortable having them work in my home regardless of whatever excuse is given for an explanation. Terrible business habits and communication. I'm going with AJ Perri and I'm confident they'll take care of me.

Horrible business, non -existent service. Lies and doesn't show up, tries to scam you and the insurance company. Completely incompetent and doesn't give a Sh-t. UGH Stay as far away from him.

Ken is one of the best electrician I know, he not only installed ( it was a complex installation, other electrician messed up many times) ecobee and made it work on auto mode for hvac. he also went above and beyond to help me with ac warranty paperwork for future. Ken and team is always available to answer your call and keep u updated with insurance process- my work was done with CHW in Sep 2022, since then no problem at all.

I definitely recommend for any hvac work, old reviews may be bad management earlier but now everything is very good with this company.

I wish I had reviewed this company before calling them for service, why so many bad reviews. Now I am training to call them, and I am not getting any response. The technician came to look at our A/C unit was very nice. I don't want the same bad experience like the other customers. I hope they are honest people.

When they first came out very responsive working with my Warranty company. The call was on June 7th. They told me the AC unit motor was bad and needed a new AC Unit. The Warranty company was quick to approve and provide a new unit. But since the return in the house was not compatible I was told I need to pay for that part and an additional $2,500 for the installation. But then ABACUS just fell off the MAP!!! It was early June and we had an extreme heat wave with temperatures 100 + degrees outside and in the 90s inside. They had the parts and dropped them at my house even. But to get them installed this is a problem. after 3 weeks I contact the Warranty company because ABACUS was just sending my calls to voicemail at this time. They approved me to hire my own company. They came out and evaluated the situation and in 2 hours our AC was running! It needed a new capacitor and a kill switch box outside which ABACUS told me would be $600 for the Box on top of the other work. When really I didn't require a new unit at all. If they would had come when promised one of the 12 times we would had never known and been out over $3,000 for nothing. This repair total with the parts was $401.00! Never do business with this company!! I am reporting to BBB as well.

This is the worst company. My home warranty company got him and the appointment was made. Well guess what he never showed and I couldn't get in touch with him (Ken). I called the home warranty and they stated after speaking to him that he didn't show because I didn't confirm appointment. We made appointment and a confirmation never came up. The warranty company said he will call in a hour to reschedule. Well that didn't happen. I let Ken know that he was no longer needed as his job was being reassigned since apparently he doesn't need to business. So because he doesn't need the business no one use this hack. Thanks for wasting my time Ken! Garbage complete garbage.

The company is a joke. Do not use them. Been stood up, piss poor communication. Items dont get fixed and its a circle jerk.
Bought a home warranty that used Abacus and Abacus had to call in the problem. The problem was, they never called! I call Abacus back and they say they called. They never did as I verified 3x with home warranty.
Abacus is so bad that the insurance company needs to get a new company on board and fire Abacus. Do not trust this company with anything. Its a *hit show. Save yourself the trouble and STAY AWAY.
