AB Plumbing came into being in direct response to the financial crisis, with our founders who were highly skilled for their previous companies' demands.
Initially, the company's focus has been to prioritize customer happiness and a desire to apply their talents to improve the community through what we do best.
During 2010, a framing structural division was established to serve the growing demands of the remodeling/building side of AB Plumbing. We offer structural framing, interior/exterior trim, roofing, decking, fence installation, barns, drywall, and painting services.
During 2011, we achieved a top service provider for our Angie's List customers. We also received backflow prevention certification.
In 2012, we became licensed as licensed contractors for water and sewer in Columbus.
In 2013, we began accepting custom projects in ceramic and carpentry, including hardwood flooring and custom cabinetry.
The year 2014, the firm expanded its offerings to provide a wide range of services, starting from plumbing repairs to complete construction projects.

Dave S.I am a electrician working in Lancaster Ohio. The customer had a well issue, so I called AB Plumbing. The original install of water lines and expansion tanks were damaged and rusted from age and incorrect installation. The repairs took time to locate and very muddy. Andrew was in the ditch and stayed until all leaks were repaired.
Jason B.Called them to get an estimate to run about 20' of gas line and install a few shut off valves. Basically $150 worth of materials. They showed up promptly, which was nice. However they were rude and pushy, which wasn't so nice. The kicker, a $2,200 estimate!!! Thanks, but no thanks. 2 stars for the quick arrival and that's being nice.
Every other plumber we called was less than half, or more, of these guys.
Liz M.I called AB when I found water leaking from my kitchen ceiling, likely from my tub. AB was the only place I called that could come out the next day for a quote. The secretary was politie and efficient.
Andrew the owner was communicative, up front about pricing, and knew exactly what the problem was before he even looked at it. He was a nice, engaging guy to boot. He told me he's been plumbing for 22 years so, that could explain the expertise. Anyway, because there was on access panel to the tub, there was a charge for diagnostics, which was 1/2 absorbed into the cost of the job. The quoted price was about what I expected and he was a nice guy so, I hired him.
He arrived on the scheduled repair day and communicated he would be late due to an emergency call. He arrived at the quoted time and got right to work. He made the job look effortless, which made me wonder why it cost so much, but then again, it is because he knows what he's doing! Before he took major steps in the job, he'd call me up to explain what he was doing. He cleaned up everything after his work was done and replaced the hole in the wall with nice moulding.
Overall a clean professional job. It's warranteed for 1 year, but I don't think I'll be calling back with any issues. He mentioned in 22 yeard of plumbing he's only had to come back to a job 3 times. Not bad, not bad at all. I'd definitely recommend Andrew at AB plumbing!
