Needed a hot water tank looked. Called and scheduled a service call. Technician called me early and said he could make it earlier than scheduled. I said I was not there but could be in 20 minutes. He was there waiting for me. Quick diagnosis and repair. Really appreciate when workers are responsive and fast. Had all the needed parts in his truck. In and out in less than an hour. Good service and good experience.

First hired them to come out and install a new faucet, quarter turn valves, and install a new toilet. The receptionist was a bear to communicate with, but the plumbers showed up on time, however, they showed up without the quarter turn valves we specifically requested they have. Bummer. The installed the faucet, which seemed to go well, until the next day when the line clogged because they didn't follow the manufacturer (and common sense) guidelines to flush the line before completing the install. My husband had to half disassemble the faucet, flush the line himself and put it back together. *sigh* Then the toilet. They removed the old one and showed us the flange was broken. It was not able to just be replaced since it was mounted on an iron pipe...for some reason. Not sure why. They said we would need a half day's work to replace the whole pipe which also included opening the ceiling in our dining room and all those associated costs. So out of three items requested they completed 1 and not even that well. They said they could come back out in a week to complete the toilet work....leaving us with one toilet downstairs until it could be fixed. I called to schedule the work and reminded the receptionist - WHO IS NEVER FRIENDLY OR NICE AT ALL - the we wanted the quarter turn valves to be replaced at the same time and set up the appointment. The day finally came and the plumbers NEVER SHOWED UP. When we called the EVER pleasant receptionist said there was NO APPOINTMENT because she was still waiting for the quarter turn valves to come in. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? She tried to pacify by saying she planned to call when they arrived, but in no way did she apologies for the fact that she just DID NOT SCHEDULE US FOR FIXING THE PIPE OR THE TOILET. We cancelled and further work paid up for the shoddy faucet work that they did the first time around and are finally rid of this horrid company for good. DO NOT WASTE EVEN YOUR BREATH CALLING THEM TO GET A QUOTE.

Never hire them! they came to unclog my kitchen sink, they charged $214 for 15 mins job, it worked for one and half weeks. They are not doing good job. Now they said they have to come back again to fix it and charge another fee. Jay from Germantown, Maryland

A&B Luck has been a Godsend! I ran over my well cap with my tractor and it had to be replaced. I didnt know who to call. After searching plumbing companies i decided to call A&B. What an awesome experience. Karen sent the plumbing Tech out and in a few hours it was repaired. We have used them since and they have overblessed my home. If your having an issue with plumbing in your home YOU HAVE TO CALL A&B!! You wont regret it. They do business the right way!

They are good plumbers, but overcharged me by a miscalculation error on the invoice for my well pump replacement at the end of June. I emailed the manager, Karen about the mistake and asked for a reimbursement check. I never heard back from her. Recently I had a problem with my sump pump. Another plumbing company came out and gave me an estimate. I emailed Karen and asked her if they could match the price and deduct the money I overpaid last time. A week has gone by and still no response. I emailed her again this morning at 7 am. Still no reply. Their video is very nice and believable, Michael talking about how they care about their customers. It seems to me that they care more about how much money they can make. At least that's my experience.

I called A&B because of a recommendation from a neighbor who used the company for over 30 years! I have to say I'm always hesitant to call being a young female I feel like certain companies try to up sell unnecessary services due to being a young female. I called A&B and they were able to schedule someone to come the very first thing the next day. I was having issues with my well water system and Tim called me when he was on the way to find out more information about my system and arrived 20 mins before the estimate! He quickly was able to locate the issue a leak and gave me an estimate which is close to thirty percent less then other companies I called after I got the estimate. Needless to say I will hire them to finish this repair!Thanks A&B and Tim who was also very nice to my dogs which I appreciate another dog lover! You've got a new customer for as long as I live in this area!

OK, A&B Luck is my go-to plumber! They just came out (on time, I might note - Tristate Plumbing, take note....your technician showed up 4 hours late) and checked my water heater.

The technician was informative as he went through to make sure all was well. It was.

So, this trip cost me $95 from A&B Luck, and that included the service call.

Tristate charges $250 just to show up. But, I've digressed....

If you're looking for a wonderful plumbing company near Germantown, MD, chek out A&B luck. I personally don't think you can do much better.

Oh, too, while downstairs the A&B tech noted that the water softener serviced by Tristate 2 weeks ago (at a cost around $500!!!!!) was unplugged! The techs at Tristate can learn a lot from the techs at A&B Plumbing.

It's the day after Christmas and Brian at A&B Luck Plumbing took my call. He was professional on the call, said he could be here in a half hour. A half hour later he was here, snaked out the pipe in the basement that was causing the back up of sludge and stench. Problem fixed! Brian was courteous, punctual thorough and professional, he double checked the issue was fixed and also looked at a few other issues and we put a follow up appointment on the books. I will continue to use A&B Luck in the future because Brian represented this company in such a professional manner not seen too often these days!
