Absolutely the worst plumbing company I ever dealt with !!!!!!!!! The worked they performed was still a problem after they left. Upon callback to get it fixed correctly and after almost 2 weeks of waiting they denied the callback to resolve the issue. So my service fee was wasted for nothing. To top it off they said the leaks were coming from a different location. CAUTION........NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE AARON, especially if you live in downtown Chicago. We requested a plumber through American Homeshield on 9/1, and they contracted out to Aaron. We called them right away, got an ""answering service""- AKA not anyone part of the company, just a random person who didn't even take our information, just said they would have the plumbers give a call back. Over the next four days we then proceeded to leave 5 more messages, every single time the answering service said ""oh we're just an answering service."" Well, then what's the point if you're not even passing along the message? FINALLY we heard back from Aaron's Plumbing morning of 9/6 (FIVE DAYS LATER- first of all, the ""answering service"" said Aaron worked on the weekends, which online Aaron also indicates- but no, they only work weekdays and not on weekends or holidays. They also said oh, we don't go to downtown Chicago because we need free parking. Where do you get free parking in downtown Chicago? They also refused to fix this structural issue with American Homeshield. Extremely rude, unprofessional throughout. Do NOT use them, and if American Homeshield contracts with them, just cancel and get someone else. Wish I could give ZERO stars.

American Home Shield assigned this company for a plumbing leak (generally time sensitive). After two days of not hearing from them, I looked up their Google and Yelp reviews and got nervous. I value my investment in my home and want quality tradespeople. I called AHS who insisted the company has been trying to call me. Nothing in my caller ID. AHS also insisted that this Co has an 'internal' 5-star rating. I insisted that this Co falsifies information. I cancelled my service and decided to pay out of pocket. Guess what? Two days later after contesting a charge AHS assured me would not go through, Aaron's called me and YELLED at me that they had been trying to call me but got a 'call wouldn't go through' message. Do they think they are living in an era of rotary phones? People have called ID. These people are liars and have absolutely no customer service. Avoid at all costs. Doesn't same much about AHS either. They'll give you 'bottom of the barrel' contractors for you home needs; do you consider your home investment deserving of that? I don't

Would give zero stars if possible. I wish I had checked reviews before I allowed American Home Shield to send them out. Totally unreachable and unresponsive to me (magically, AHS was always able to get a hold of them). Faucet in bathroom requires replacement and their plumber ""doesn't like working on"" pedestal sinks, so they told AHS I would have to ""make access"" by removing the sink from the wall myself! Now they have pocketed the $100 service fee and my home warranty will reimburse me probably less than half the actual cost of getting the repair from a reputable company. Great business model for them! Avoid at all costs!

Like many others, American Home Shield set us up with Aaron Plumbing. We were scared this was going to be a nightmare based on their reviews. Not so, not in the least. Patty at the office was very friendly and got us set for an appointment. Jerry was our plumber. He was nice, thoughtful, knew exactly what our leaky drain pipe needed, and fixed it on the spot with materials he already had in his truck (and he told us that if he didn't have exactly what he needed, he would go pick it up from the neighborhood Home Depot and be right back to fix it). It did take four days to get someone out to our house, but we had a very good experience with customer service and plumbing work.

THIS COMPANY DESERVES ZERO STARS AND SHOULD NOT BE IN OPERATION.

American Home Shield sent this company the hot water tank. This company is so unresponsive. I constantly had to contact them to get an update on a part that was ordered. However, the part was never ordered and they closed out the service on the AHS website as complete.

I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY!!!!

Gave it a one star because I couldn't give a zero. I've had a leaking faucet for two months now. They came and said it was fixed, it was still leaking. They came back a week later, saw it was leaking, said they were going to order a new faucet. I called them once a week, every time the woman said she had to contact the plumber. They stopped returning my calls about a month ago, they refuse to give a diagnosis to AHS, this company is worse than bad, that shouldn't be in business.

The worst - don't let American home shield assign this worthless company. They tie up your work order and ghost you. It's crazy
And if they do ever come out they do horrible work

This company was recommended to us by American Home Shield, our insurance company. Our older gentleman plumber was sent out to inspect our 3 toilets and diagnose them for the insurance company. As soon as he saw the first toilet he told us that the type of toilet we had was not good, they couldn't be fixed and needed to be replaced. After inspecting all 3 of them he said the same thing. Upon leaving he told me he would relay this to the insurance company and all I would have to do is approve a replacement of their choosing. The next day I get an email saying that the claim was denied. I call in right away and AHS said that the technician reported that ""customer does not like the way the toilets flush and the toilets are fully functional."" I ""don't like the way they flush"" because they have no power, clog all the time and even caused a flood in the downstairs bathroom. Of which the technician knew all about and agreed with. For some reason the story he gave to AHS was the opposite of what he had told me. I called Aaron plumbing multiple times trying to get him to call me or send me his notes about his ""diagnosis"" for AHS. Of course no call back from him or the company. I was able however to get a second opinion from a different company the next day, they approved the claim and I got a favorable outcome with AHS that very afternoon. I would recommend that Aaron plumbing be removed from this insurance company's approved list of vendors or at least be made to answer for their practices. My experience with them was less than one star but I'm giving them a 1 because the receptionist was polite. Luckily I was able to get a second opinion which worked out for me.

I was brought to this company by American Home Shield and one star is too high of a rating since zero isn't any option. They came to our house once before and stated that they couldn't fix one of the pipes that was leaking, but when I called my insurance company they said it is definitely within their scope of work and I contacted a different plumber who did the job. I had a different leak and tried to contact them 3 times and left a message with no call back to set up an appointment. Avoid this company at all costs as you can see from the other reviews as well.
