Recommended Customer Reviews

I was brought to this company by American Home Shield and one star is too high of a rating since zero isn't any option. They came to our house once before and stated that they couldn't fix one of the pipes that was leaking, but when I called my insurance company they said it is definitely within their scope of work and I contacted a different plumber who did the job. I had a different leak and tried to contact them 3 times and left a message with no call back to set up an appointment. Avoid this company at all costs as you can see from the other reviews as well.

A one star rating is too generous but I can't leave a review with zero stars. The older gentleman has no idea what he's doing. He told my tenant the toilet needed new parts and that he would be back. Then he tells me that the toilets were working properly. And what is worse, the company doesn't enter any information on my home warranty page / system despite me calling/texting 5 times so basically the home warranty company won't send another plumber because on their side it seems Aaron plumbing did their job. My tenant thinks they didn't want to go back because the older technician had a hard time going up the stairs to the third floor where the property is located and complain a lot about it.

Horrible experience! The home warranty company approved vendor! Negative 10- stars.

Put in a work order with my Home Warranty company on a Wednesday. Aaron Plumbing finally called me Sunday evening around 430pm and said they could be at my house the following day, Monday between 10am and 1pm. No call, no show. Had to wait another hour plus on hold with my warranty company to request someone else.
Check out their Better Business Bureau page. Enough said.

If I could give 0 stars I would. It has taken over 2 months for a basic plumbing job. AHS assigned them to my request. They have canceled, no-showed, refused to answer the phone so I have had to call them from different numbers. The customer service and the work itself has been so poor. Jerry (the plumber) even texted me saying that he hated me (he meant to send that to his office). Ridiculous!!!

Our kitchen sink was clogged and we were not able to fix it ourselves. American Home Shield referred to Aaron's, it took 5 days to get an appointment, several phone messages at Aaron's remained unanswered and only through the emergency line of AHS we finally got the appointment.
The plumber was friendly but not able to finish the job with the tools he was carrying. He promised calling back same day Friday after consulting with his boss. Unfortunately this never happened. We followed up Monday and Tuesday with phone messages, both were recorded by the receptionist, promising a return call.
After waiting another 2 days, we hired another plumber.
This company is not reliable and not service oriented. Absolutely not recommendable!

American Home Shields sent this company out to fix our injector pump and to fix the sink. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! They sent a man that is 75 years old named Robert who told us the pump wasn't broke, it needed a switch. Instead of changing the switch he put a new sump pump in that won't fit, caught an attitude and left. He originally said he can come back in days but now we just don't know. I'm not giving any stars because this is the second time we sent AMERICAN HOME SHIELDS $100 to fix this and all they can say is sorry. DO NOT RECOMMEND DO NOT RECOMMEND DOOOOOOOO NOT RECOMMEND. And if anyone from EITHER COMPANY SEES THIS....you can call and we can talk about it before i take further steps

America Home Shields send them to repair our leaking water heater. Service guy was prompt and professional. Now waiting for American Home Shields.

Judging by the rest of the reviews, it's pretty shocking these guys are still on the contractor list from American Home Shield (AHS).
I have a radiant floor heating system, that is attached to a water heater that had a ""service"" light on, and gave gas smells when it was running. I called it in, AHS sends in Aaron, who proceeds to question whether anything is even wrong. Forgot to bring a flashlight / a lighter (so I'm now equipping the tech to do his job). He tinkers a bit, and declares that I don't have a water heater, but in fact a water boiler, which he does not service.
He calls it into AHS, who sends an HVAC team.
HVAC team arrives and surprise - I don't have a water boiler, I in fact have a water heater, which of course they don't service.
3 days later without the radiant heat, still chasing AHS to send a capable plumber...

The first time they sent somebody out to fix minor leaks, they sent An older gentleman who didn't seem to know what he was doing. Fine, minor leaks no longer leaking.
So let's jump into July 23, 2018, when I had a carbon monoxide leak from the water heater. The fire department came out, the gas company came out, both had pretty high readings.
When I had made the appointment, I specifically said that I did not want the person that they sent out the last time. I want somebody who knew what he was doing, considering the importance of the job. I was told that a gentleman named Jerry would come out.
The following day, it was Sam, I'm pretty sure it was the guy that I did not want, showed up at my house.
He asked why we think we had carbon monoxide in the house and disputed the findings from the gas company, said he was going to recommend that we get a new water heater (ours is old) so he wasn't going to clean anything out and would be back the following day. He said that he would have to contact ""the office"" and we would hear from somebody about setting up another appointment.
Keep in mind that the guy from the gas company wrote down what needed to be repaired on the water heater, and also commented about some ductwork that should be altered, which I already knew wouldn't have been covered under my American Home Shield contract.
So then I get a call from American home Shield stating that the 'technician' Call them stating that was what was causing the carbon monoxide leak was not covered under the contract. This so-called technician was shown the report from the gas company, yet only mentioned the flue pipe connection (should to be changed to a Y from a T). There is no mention of a new shut off valve or the internal flue on the actual heater. He also apparently failed to notice the black marks on the outside of the heater, clearly indicating that there is a block somewhere.
Needless to say I put in a complaint with American Home Shield, will be having a second opinion and am hoping that the actual problem will be resolved soon by a more competent company.
The water heater has been repaired by a competent individual from another company. After I getting some attitude from the people I spoke to at American Home Shield, after being on hold for 30 minutes at a time, I have switched home warranty companies as well.
