Michael T.After 15 years service we had to replace our water heater. We went with a Lochinvar model from AAA Service. Installation went well and we had 3 years of good performance until last month when we noticed corrosion on the top of the water heater. We called in AAA Service. They charged us $89 to tell us the unit needed to be replaced. And then informed us that just the unit was still under warranty and that installation of the new water heater would be $500. After just three years of service!
Lesson: Avoid Lochinvar water heaters and AAA Service.
Last week I contacted this company for a repair to my refrigerator and stove. Additionally they regularly send me emails for services and specials etc. I used them as recently as last year for a repair to one of my stove burners and always paid with a credit card for services rendered
I just had the strangest phone call this company indicating they were cancelling my appointment for tomorrow that was scheduled last week. The woman would only tell me that the owner is claiming they had to write off a substantial large debt somehow involving me that occurred 10 years ago or so but she would not say what it was. I have no idea what this is about, never received any notice from them about this and have used them continually over the past 10 years without a problem. I told the woman she must have me confused with someone else
The woman from AAA Network refused
To give any further detail and then proceeded to hang up the phone
My 4y old LG washer wasn't working properly. I called AAA on Saturday. Talked to a courteous person. I requested a Monday morning slot. I got my call at 7am Monday to confirm for a tech to arrive. Pat was very professional and polite. He didn't mind my playful dog trying to get him to play with her. He worked efficiently. Fortunately it was a simple fix with just some foreign objects stuck in my drain line. I would use or recommend AAA company for repairs.
