I along with many others had to use him through my home warranty. He replaced my HWH but charged an additional $1150 to bring it into CA earthquake compliance. This meant a few straps, overflow pan, and expansion tank. These parts only came to a few hundred dollars (if that). I confronted him about it and he said that the warranty company tells him what to charge, which is a lie. He also stated that he didn't need a permit. I called the city and they said he absolutely needed a permit, so I got one and they found several issues with his installation. He's a con artist, not trustworthy and lacks integrity. Tell the warranty company you want someone else. Stay away from him and his sidekick.

Plumber came to check out a problem with toilet through a Home Warranty Company. His estimate for repiping the whole house in addition to lead and asbestos testing was in the range of $20,000. I paid him his $85 and he left. I called my local plumber and all that was needed was a new wax ring and new bolts. Total bill was $150. This company needs to be out of business!!!

This company was sent to us through home warranty. Called to repair a drain issue, possible garbage disposal. Arrived at property of 85yo family member. The man was angry, on his phone complaining about previous call. Was on-site for 4-5 minutes. Stated not plumbing issue. Collected $75 and left. Well this thief needs to be in jail for stealing. We called another person out who repaired the plumbing problem in 20 minutes. I called AAA and left a voicemail and guess what NO CALL BACK.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You have been warned.

Horrible horrible service. Vendors like this are the reason I'm canceling my first American home warranty. They picked them on purpose to basically make repairs impossible. I had another plumber snake a drain because this is not included in my home warranty and he noted that the water heater was leaking. This is the contractor assigned when I called to follow up with my home warranty. He showed up with another person who was in plain clothes and you couldn't even tell if they were actually licensed professionals or what they were doing. Instead of trying to troubleshoot my water heater which at the time he arrived was not leaking at all, he went ahead and gave me a list of five items that supposedly "" not to code"" Even though I had my water heater install permitted four years ago for a grand total of 1200. Again, I called this plumbing service through my home warranty to troubleshoot a leaky water heater and instead he list it off a cash price to fix items that I didn't ask him to which nobody else had said were not permitted even though I've had three licensed plumbers at my house in the last three years. Why would I pay $1200 when I have a home warranty coverage? I basically paid $75 for a useless visit and by listing of all of those items he has made sure that the home warranty won't cover any further repairs on my water heater. If I could give this vendor negative stars I would. To top it off, I am a young woman and him and his ""assistant"", both much older men spoke to me in a condescending manner like I was an idiot who didn't know what I was talking about. AVOID if you Can!! Horrible service.

DO NOT HIRE OR CALL. Like others, was assigned this guy via Frist American Home Warranty, also a joke of a company. Inisted on code upgrades that were not covered by the warranty. When I called another plumber for a quote on the same work, I got a price that was roughly 60% of the AAA quote. Called AAA back and told him I didn't need him to do anything but the warrantied work. He screamed at me for checking prices and hung up on me. Obviously that is how he scams his way into work. AVOID at all costs. Much better local plumbers.

31+ one-star reviews, how is this guy still in business? I had no choice, as he was sent by my home warranty company First American (also awful).

We spoke on the phone, and I told him the situation at our duplex. He asked if he could come out the following Tuesday between 10am and 2pm. I told him I wouldn't be there, as I don't live in town, and I'd need to check with the tenants for both units and get back to him, which I did. One tenant was home, the other left a key under the mat, which I also told him.

Tuesday comes, he calls me at 10:45am, I miss his call but call him back, he doesn't answer. I try calling him several times to ask what the status is, he never answers. He finally calls me back at 1:45pm, with no apology, and informs me rudely ""you missed our appointment"". I reminded him that I am the landlord, and the tenants for both units were (and still are for the next 15 minutes) expecting him, as previously discussed. He then informs me that I have a single house, not two units. I reminded him that this is not the case, there are two, as previously discussed. He seemed confused and annoyed, but said he would head over.

He sent me a text asking if the city had copies of the permits for the plumbing on file, and I told him probably not because they didn't have much detailed information (one unit was built in the 30s and the other in the 70s). I asked him what was going on, he said he didn't know because he couldn't get into the unit. I reminded him there was a key left under the mat, no response. I asked if he went into the main house at least, no response. The tenants said they never saw him, and it didn't look like anything had been touched - I suspect he drove by the outside and left. I tried calling and texting him several times over the next few days, he finally responded 2 days later with ""you need to call First American.""

After an hour and a half on the phone with First Am they finally tell me ""your claim has been denied because the plumber states you have an illegal garage conversion unit."" This is completely inaccurate, as this is a legal, permitted SFR & ADU. Somehow this plumber who didn't even look at the property knows my zoning?? I had to fight tooth and nail with First Am just to allow me the privilege of uploading official documents from the city proving that my property is not illegal. Incredibly frustrating, and a huge waste of time.

After weeks of arguing and waiting and getting no response, I was finally able to speak to someone at Frist Am and they agreed to send out another plumber due to this man's unprofessionalism and rudeness, which they say they ""don't tolerate"". Yeah, right.

Bad customer service. Phil was sent by our warranty company Old Republic. He called me to make an appointment. Made us wait 5 days. I then call him and asked what time he would arrive. He said- 9am, but arrives an hour late. He looks at the kitchen plumbing pipes and says- the warranty does not cover what is behind the covered board. He takes a couple of pictures and says it's $75. $75 for nothing. I asked Phil if he could please put a plug in the garbage disposal to seal off the hose line that goes into the dish washer- he said he could not do it. What a rip off! $75 to tell me he can't plug in a hole in the dish washer...

What a rude Ahole! Our tenants do not wear shoes inside their home, and keep booties for service people to wear when entering. He had refused to wear them/and or remove shoes. I would not have allowed this
POS into my home since we are also a no shoe home. Unacceptable and unprofessional!

I called Phil from out of state to assist me with shower hand held installation at my ailing 88 year old mom's home. He showed up in time and very professionally provided services requested and examined a toilet with ""issues"". She and her caregiver were extremely pleased with his service. This is the second time I've used him and I highly recommend him.
