Came to my aid when I had a slab leak. They were available the next morning, found the leak, and did the job for the quoted price. A+

Called Pinpoint in the morning and they arrived within three hours. Mike and Scott listened to my suspicions about what I thought was the problem. They took out their listening devices and proceeded to isolate the cold water line that had brust. It took about an hour to pinpoint the leak. They opened up the wall by cutting the wall board in the garage and marked the offending water line, so that my plumber could repair the line. Very efficient and pleasant to work with. Now it's time for the plumber!

I hired Pinpoint Leak Detection to find a gas leak at my parent's home. I called them at 3PM on Monday and they arranged for Danny to come out to my parent's home at 8:30AM on Tuesday morning. Danny was extremely helpful and professional. He called to inform us when he was on his way. He took time to explain the process and then explained his finding. He detected the leaks quickly and informed our plumber of the locations so they could be repaired the same day. I am so grateful to Pinpoint. I will always recommend them for leak detection.

Our appointment was scheduled for 1pm, but we got a call from Scott around 12:20pm that he could get here sooner, so he arrived in 5 minutes.
We thought we had a very small leak somewhere in our lines, because we smell a musty odor under the house. Scott checked the meter by the street and saw that it didn't show any signs of a leak, so he took one of those sensor gadgets to the main lines to confirm. And nothing registered. He could have easily have left it at that, and charged us the cost of the service. BUT, he did NOT. Instead he wanted to see why there was a musty odor, so he actually went under the house, and the crawl spaces are very very cramp. And he covered the whole house under where there were pipes, and he FOUND the source of the smell! It was a break in the drain line under the kitchen! That spot was way across the other end of the house from where the crawl space entry was!
We are so glad he found the leak, PLUS he went back AGAIN, to take a video! He also gave us a referral of a plumber that could do the job right away. We called that plumber and he was able to do it the same day, he arrived in less than an hour!
Thanks Pinpoint & Scott for your AAA service!!!

John arrived same day and located the leak in the hot water pipe under our house. Very kind and answered all my questions. He also referred the plumber for repairs. Would definitely use Pinpoint again.

This company inspected our sewer before we bought our house over a year ago. They took video of the sewer pipe running from our basement to the city main and proclaimed all to be well.
They were wrong. It turned out the sewer was broken. The video they took showed the pipe break, not a connection to the city main.
We had to spend over $10k to repair the sewer.
Had the company done a proper inspection and diagnosis we would have been able to negotiate the house seller paying the cost of the sewer repair before we bought our house.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I had a sewer smell in my master bathroom. I had 4 different plumbers come try to find it. I had 4 different solutions suggested. I had advice to tear out two different walls and jackhammer the slab. I had a wife suggesting I call Pinpoint before moving forward. I had Jeremy and Dan come out. I had a mark on one wall telling where the problem was. I had a plumber come out and find the problem exactly where Pinpoint said it was. I had a sewer smell in my bathroom... but I don't anymore... because... I had Pinpoint come out. You guys rock!

John and his team were great. They did a ""smoke test"" to try and locate the source of a sewer smell we've been trying to figure out for almost a year. Multiple plumbers, 3 camera tests, a complete garage renovation (in case the smell was actually from rodents getting into the walls via cracks in old garage) -- and in about an hour they located the source. If anyone has a sewer smell, JUST START WITH A SMOKE TEST. The cost was $350 plus $100 for a camera view to try and pinpoint the exact spot. The other company I had called was going to charge $4,000 for a smoke test !!!! John and his team arrived a few minutes early, got the job done, cleaned up and then sent me a link to view the camera test and a video of where the smoke was coming out --- so now the plumber can attack the problem at the source. Finally!
Thanks guys!! I really appreciate your expertise and reasonable price!

We hired Pinpoint to ""detect a leak in the slab "" (hence the name....Pinpoint Leak Detection?) and mentioned when the appointment was booked that we had found roots in the toilet when they were changed out. Technician they sent to appointment was nice and when he was here I was talking to him and showed him the damage to the walls, the slab and how we thought there was a leak under the house making the soil unstable. He was here for an hour and a half. I kept asking him..did you find a leak? Is that where there's leak? Figured he knew what he was doing there. (Pinpoint Leak Detection???) He sent his report to us and I forwarded on to plumber/contractor. Guess what? They didn't look for a leak in the slab at all! They sent a camera in the sewer line to tell us we had roots where we told them we had roots! So I call and let them know there was a serious miscommunication and words cannot adequately describe the woman I had to deal with on the phone. Customer service is horrible, she was defensive and wanted to charge us an additional $275.00 on top of the $250.00 we had already paid to come out and see if we have a leak in the slab. Really. Methinks not. Stay away.

Called this company on recommendation from our plumber, as we have had multiple sewer back up problems. I set the appointment and told them we had been having a lot of issues with toilets and showers backing up etc. they sent a nice guy out with the camera apparatus, but when he put it into the clean out he said ""well, you've got water in your pipes, and I can't see anything!"" ""That will be 250.00, and I'll only charge you a discounted rate of 150.00 to come back after your plumber snakes the line."" WHAAT? I tried for 20 minutes to get my plumber to come out right away, but he couldn't, so I was stuck paying 250.00 for nothing! I called to complain, and try to at least get the second visit for free, but the woman on the phone said it was MY job to tell HER if my line was backed up or not! It wasn't exhibiting symptoms, so HOW WOULD I KNOW? It should be a standard question they ask when people call, and they should WARN you that their cameras don't work under water, and they don't offer snaking services. How stupid! They could have charged me another hundred for the snake, and I would have paid it gladly. I asked the woman to have the owner call me back, but he never did. My husband also called the next day and had the same conversation with her, also asking her to have the owner call. Never heard from them! Thinking about calling my credit card company to reverse the charges. What a rip-off! I'll repost when I find a company that can do the job ""whatever it takes"".
