I should have left this review earlier, but the pandemic interrupted our family's lives that I just remembered that I bought a new toilet at Lowes for my elderly mother a week before the pandemic started and Paradise not only overcharged my mother, but the toilet started to slowly leak poop and pee around the edge on the floor 3 days after he installed it. I should of installed it myself because I would have made sure it was level and sealed with a heavy duty wax seal and/or rubber seal. They are good at the rooter and faucet stuff, but not so good with older homes that need new toilets that take some real concentration and checking back with the customer.

Wow. What a rip-off. I had them come look at a bathroom faucet that wasn't working well and was quoted $1,000 repair - said with a deadpan straight face - honestly I thought he was joking. I asked what I owed him for ""looking at it"" and he said $67.50. I wrote a check and sent him on his way. My grandson stopped by on his way home from worked and fixed the problem in about 20 minutes and my sink now works great.
Enough said. I won't be calling that company again.

The service I received from David at AAA Paradise Plumbing was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable, reliable and courteous, letting me know the process every step of the way. This is a great company and I highly recommend their services.

Called to get a quote to do a job. The guy seemed confused and went to his truck to call someone else then after about 15 minutes told me he would have to go back to the office & write up the quote, then told me I owed $65 for the service call! Called another company. They put me through to someone and I explained what I needed. A few days later a plumber showed up and got busy, had the job done in two hours. A few days later I finally get the quote from Paradise. Are you kidding me? They quoted 2 guys, 5 hours & a price that was more than double for the job that took the other plumber two hours all by himself. Not sure if this is on purpose or just lack of knowledge and experience. Either way not good.

I called Paradise plumbing and they came out for an estimate on February 14, it's now March 4 and I have not heard back on an estimate that I requested on a whole house re-pipe. They made sure to charge me the $65 estimate fee after I was never made aware of beforehand. And after three weeks I still haven't heard back nor received a comprehensive estimate. Their assessment was thorough I will give them that however, never heard back. and they made sure to tell me how busy they were however, I never expected to not hear back. The job is considerably large for a whole house older home repipe and over $40,000 and I'm surprised that they haven't gotten back to me yet. after calling, I received a voicemail. I am not prone to giving a negative review however, frustrated with the service and lack of follow up from this company. I have since chosen another local company, but was hoping to get several estimates from a few different local, family owned companies in Ventura.

I had to have two toilets installed. David Duran , the plumber, did a great job. he was meticulous an courteous. The second toilet was supposed to be installed by another plumber (who was installing a shower). The other plumber gave me a bit of bother about the toilet. Called David, problem solved.
David came and installed it. job well done. he had to replace the old pipes, which took over seven hours. Paradise is not cheap, but quality costs.

Recently I had a plumbing issue, it was 6:30pm on a Saturday night. The response time was great, the plumber David was courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. We had a couple of bumps following this emergency service call, but we received quick follow up service, always with the intent to make sure we were a satisfied customer. Based on the service we received, the repair costs and their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a happy satisfied customer, this truly is a business that should be used and supported. Over the past few years I had become discouraged. I had a couple of ongoing plumbing problems that could not be solved by a stream of visiting plumbers. A building contractor that I trust, recommended the people he uses but he specifically said to ask for a veteran plumber at AAA Paradise.

To my delight, a veteran plumber is what I got. I was able to schedule ""Henry"" within a few days. By now I had a short list of issues to brainstorm. With calm and a fun sense of humor, Henry knocked off my list items one by one. He acknowledged the items that he would further research, suggested ideas for me to try in the meanwhile and went above and beyond to solve what he could on his first visit.

The fee was reasonable for the great amount of time that he spent and we have planned to each do some homework before our next scheduled visit.

In the past, many of the visiting plumbers just wanted a quick fix. They were content to snake, use a camera, or other costly suggestions without spending much time brainstorming.

I am hopeful that I have finally found the expertise I need to resolve the plumbing problems at my home. What a relief!
