Our initial impression of Mike was good as he is personable but that's as far as it goes. He is not to be trusted. He brought in other men to come in to put in laminate flooring and redo our restroom, including repairing and replacing leaking pipes. 1st off, the floors were leveled in 1 of the rooms without asking us then said "" don't worry about it, the cost is hardly anything."" It was actually an added $900. He must be wealthy because to us $900 is alot. The restroom was left a mess. Our walls are crooked, the tub still leaks, and worse off, there is major leakage under our house from the botched job his plumbers did. Now we are forced to pay someone else to repair the damage. Mike is not accepting responsibility for any of the damages saying we went ""the cheap route"". WTH! Nothing cheap about $14000 worth if B.S. work. Bottom line- Do not hire this guy! find yourself a real contractor who you can trust to do an honest and quality job.

Our experience with Mike (Mansour Hashem) has been positive the two or three times we have used him. He did a great job installing granite counter tops in both the kitchen and a bathroom. He also did good quality painting and carpentry, including building a gate and similar -- his prices were excellent.

As with any contractor-client relationship it is important to have an understanding about schedule, work quality and payments. Having said this, we are anticipating granite work in another bathroom (we live in Plays Del Rey) and will certainly invite him to propose first.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had experience with this person as a landlord. He lied and misrepresented himself and then revealed hidden matters one at a time for several days. He refused to take responsibility or even apologize for anything he did to me. To say that he is a walking accident, incompetent, and an unfunny clown is being kind. For God's sake stay away from this accident happening one step and one word at a time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Contractor Mansour Hashem got his license from a ""Cereal box""!! This guy does not have any clue what construction is. He sold us with this great speech about how knowledgeable he was with his 30 years experienced license, so we decided to do a big remodeling project with him. He charged us almost 40% less than other contractors, so we thought we were getting a great deal. How much I regret to have chosen him among the other expensive contractors. He left the project half way asking for a lot more money, everything he did was done wrong and he damaged many things during the project. He hired unlicensed plumbers and handymen that made big mistakes (including a huge flood that damaged my beautiful hardwood floors). On top of that, he failed the city inspection every time and things had to be redone two and even three times. He jeopardize the structure of my house and thanks to the City, he had to put back many beams he damaged. This guy is an old man that should get retired and avoid more human beings the stressed we have gone through. At the end, we fired him (after we gave him all our money) and now we just hired another contractor to finish the job, sadly we are going to pay 140% of the price he offered, that's a lot more than the most expensive contractor we were getting estimates from. Mansour is only good for one thing, yield at you like an animal. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY, you will regret it the rest of your life...
