A month ago I needed to fix my shower. the faucet was leaking and it needed a new cartridge. The problem was compounded by the fact that the shut-off valve (located in the closet) was broken and it would not spin. That had to be fixed before the man could work on the leaking shower. Moral of the story, this is the estimate that I got from the AAA repairman:
- Replace main shut-off with a new regulator: $ 1,050
- Permit and inspection: $ 150
- Mexit shower cartridge: $ 199
Total cost: $ 1,399.00
Now, customer beware, that is TOTAL RIPOFF: dishonesty at its best. Why? Because the same day I called a couple of others plumbers and I got the job done in two hours at a total cost of $ 490.
Go figure.....
I can't help but think that if my appliance WAS OUT of warranty, that this company would have been happy to do whatever it took to repair it! In fact, that was not the case, and as such, after multiple attempts to repair the appliance, decided, without telling us, that they were not going to make any additional repairs. They just disappeared! It was only after a week had passed since they had been to our home, that I called to learn that they were done working on it. THEY QUIT! And when pressed as to why, they had no answer other than they didn't want to work on it any longer. No apology - no sorry for all the inconvenience - just ""crickets"". AAA Appliance gets a FFF from us.
Andrea F.Excellent service!! We had a great experience using this company for an electrical issue. We purchased a fixer upper home and discovered some concerning electrical issues. Jeremy came out and we were his last call of the day. This guy worked so hard, the issue was hard to find, but he checked EVERYTHING in the house until he found it. He stayed past normal business hours to ensure our home was safe. I offered for him to come out another day to finish, but he refused and said he wanted to stay and finish what he started - AWESOME! He answered our millions of questions and explained everything he was doing. I am so happy we called this company, such a great experience. I am a very picky person and generally find a reason to complain, but AAA Home Service was perfect, no complaints!! We will be having them back out to do some more work for us. I highly recommend them!!

Jessica was on top of helping me with a Samsung warranty issue while I was out of the country. Jessica went above & beyond. I am very pleased and will use again.
Joe L.John S came out and repaired my dryer this morning. Called AAA at 8:30am was offered a morning or afternoon same day appointment. I chose morning, John arrived around 11:00am and my dryer was repaired by 11:45am. Honest Company, Great Service, Good Value, Great People.
While a repair scheduled for my fridge went well, the attempt to schedule a plumbing repair revealed some concerning incompetence. The fridge technician, if you will, said he'd schedule the plumber for me, took my info, made the call. Despite some specifics shared -- that I couldn't be home or answer my phone due to work but could guarantee an adult would be here to let the plumber in -- AAA's apparently incompetent receptionist/scheduler didn't take notes and they still tried to call me to confirm when I'd already said I couldn't answer and then never showed up, wasting the time of a family member who'd graciously offered to be at my house to facilitate a timely repair. The person I spoke to in an attempt at resolution was rude and would only reschedule -- not patiently hear the complaint and concern or offer any sort of incentive for me to give AAA my business. The combined incompetence of all involved in this failed attempt at giving this company my business is impressive. I won't use them again unless required for warranty-covered issues; if it's my dollar, it's going to someone who can communicate like an adult.
So impressed. We got a furnace and air conditioning system. Service was fast and very efficient. Main service tech, John, was very good. Very fair price. No high pressure sale. Appreciated that.
Scott P.Terrible customers, techs have been out to fix my whirlpool frig 4 times and have not completed the repair. I have been without a frig/freeze for more than 45 days. When I call to advise them of the issue they do not care and still provide bad attitude and rudeness. Thanks Gail for all your help in getting my Dis-Service scheduled. I call over the weekend and asked for someone to call me about my issue. I have still not heard back from them in the afternoon on the following Monday after my Service call that did not fix any issue. I do not recommend them for service.
AAA Appliance came out a day after I called even though their ad says ""Same Day Service"" and the call was made at 7:15 a.m. A plumber comes out to cable my basement drain and after $300.50 charge tells me that he will have to call someone else that has a bigger cable and it was going to be another $200 (they didn't charge me anymore) and they might be here later that day. I said it would be that day because of their Same Day Service and sure enough they send another guy. He goes down with his helper and they work for an hour and then say I'll have to call the City of St. Charles because there is a broken pipe. Okay, that's fine but in the course of dealing with this problem I talked to 4 other plumbers and all said they would not have cabled through the basement first but outside since the problem is usually between the cleanout and the street considering I have two trees on both sides of the pipe and the age of the house. The other plumbers all said that they should have been able to cable out enough that I would have water function so I wouldn't have sewage in my basement which I do now. AAA's plumber also told me that I would be able to use my tiolet even though it had been raining substantially the day all this was going on and the ground was saturated.
I have used this company several times before for appliance repair and have never had a problem and the techs have always been great.
Today I spoke to the company owner today and ended up hanging up on him because he wouldn't let me speak unless I raised my voice to be heard. He argued that he could find 5 plumbers that would do the same thing his employee did and when I ask him to give me some of those plumber's names he started arguing with me that if there's a broken pipe it's a broken pipe. True but if other plumbers state that the problem was made worse by going through the basement drain instead of the outside cleanout.
Apparently this man does not like people telling him that things might have been done differently.
This company knows nothing about customer service. They have disrespectful attitudes, and nickel and dime you for every service. They overlooked a part of a job I ordered, told me everything was repaired, and when I noticed it had not been the way I asked, they charged me for fixing their oversight! Do not call this company if you expect the job to be done the right way and without a headache.
