Tech came to house, filled AC unit with freeon, charged $600 dollars, unit never worked properly. Tech came back to look at unit and stated that unit needs to be replaced. Charged another $200 dollars and quoted me for new unit.

I spent $284 on a service call to still have the same problem occur. I decided to call a competitor to come out to give an estimate on replacing the furnace as was recommended. Sunday morning the competition came out and evaluated what the issue was. The current furnace is fine, just oversized for the house which was causing the furnace to overheat and prematurely shut down. It was recommended to cut a return in the basement to allow more airflow into the furnace. Did that and presto, no more issues. Your competition didn't charge me on top of that!

Do not use this company!! They will not call you back. It took them several visits to install a furnace. Claimed the original A/ unit was 3lbs. low when It had been working fine before they removed the A-coil and claimed they lost 2lb but charged for 3 additional missing lbs ??? They could not get thermostat to work on new furnace and claimed that the A/C never worked and was never hooked up??? Really I think someone would know if A/C didn't work. Now only days after Freon charge condensate water is all over the floor. Must have been the hardest part of the job!! Oh and did I mention Elmer won't answer or call you back????
DO NOT USE!! Do I have more...Yes but Hopefully this is enough to move on to the next company.

Don't use this company!!!! We were first quoted 2,500 to 2,800 to add heat to our sunroom. We waited 6 months for them to begin the install and were put off 3 weeks in a row, one cancellation was the morning of. The workers that were sent were very polite but wired the pump incorrectly. As a result, we ended up without heat for a full night. The workers left multiple burn marks in our carpeting to the extent that it now needs to be replaced. After all of this, the heat was still not working correctly and the owner had to come to ""fix"" it but offered little in the way of compensation. We ended up paying 3,945, had a huge mess to clean up, and ruined carpeting! This is a company we had used before and recommended to others, never again.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!
For anyone looking to use AAA Comfort Heating & Cooling, DON'T!! The owner is a condescending jerk. Last fall they serviced our furnace and replaced a very expensive control board, and at that time he recommended we replace our furnace and quoted us $2800. On Saturday (Memorial Day Weekend) our furnace went out again and left us without air. It was a hot weekend. I called them and left a voicemail as they claim to have emergency services and tell them I need the furnace replaced based on their previous recommendation. I repeated my phone number twice on the voicemail. By Tuesday at 11am I still had not heard back so I called and they said someone would be out that same day. I told them I wanted the furnace replaced ASAP and not a repair, and again gave my phone number. Wednesday comes and by noon I still had not heard from them so I called and the woman that answered was driving and took my phone number twice, and she repeated it correctly to me, and said she would call me back once she got to the office in a little bit. Come Thursday at 1pm, the same woman calls me back claiming that she had the wrong number and could not get in touch with us. I called bullshit since I had already given it to them 5 times previously. She said someone would be out in a few hours and look at the furnace and give us a quote and that they would call when they are on their way. Due to the lack of communication and service by AAA Comfort, I called Johansen & Anderson Heating & Cooling because a friend had recommended them. They came right out by 3pm and told me the previously replaced board was defective. They were super nice and said one of their sales guys would call to give a quote for a new furnace. Which he did within 1 hr and quoted us over the phone approx $3500 and set an appointment for this next Monday.
Still not hearing from AAA Comfort, I had to run an errand that early evening and while I was gone the owner of AAA Comfort shows up without calling (I think his name is Elmer), and my wife tells him to quote us for a new furnace. He then gets really pissed off that he was there ""only"" for a quote. He then proceeds to address my wife by saying ""Listen Missy"", and proceeds to tell her that we wasted his time and that he has other customers without A/C that are more urgent than we are and literally started to throw his hands up in the air. She was quite upset the way he addressed her and acted. My 22 yr old son witnessed this whole thing also. He did give us a quote for $4050.00 and offered to warranty the control board since it was less than 1 yr old. But after this experience, we would NEVER let this company in our home ever again. I was fully prepared to pay whatever it took to get this furnace replaced and now I will be giving my business to Johansen & Andersen as they were so much more professional and courteous.

AAA has been a tremendous help to me (and my house:)). I feel that I can trust the entire team at AAA and I feel respected as a homeowner... and so does my bank account. My bills are lower than I expect when making the dreaded call:) and it is always a pleasant visit. I recommend this company to all my friends and family when asked. Thank you, AAA for being stand up humans!

Elmer and his crew did a fantastic job.
I needed a one piece HVAC unit replaced in a difficult and tight space.
They were very careful and neat and extremely knowledgeable.
I wouldn't hesitate to call them for any of your HVAC needs. They are in Wilmington, but do service the Naperville area.

Of course you never want your furnace to not work correctly!! It always happens the first cold day of late fall . Our furnace kept trying to work but wood shut off . I called AAA Comfort heating and air !! Left a message with the lady at the office and received a call back from the owner within 10 minutes !! Elmer the owner said he was in Naperville on a call and would be out within an hour . Was on time and fixed our furnace took 10 minutes was on his way to his next call .
I highly recommend them for all your heating and cooling needs . I hate reviews and am not a fan of leaving them usually!! When it's called for you should !! Great service

Great company! Very miserable and hot! Called these guys out and they came within 2 hours on one of the hottest days. Fixed my air and not it is running perfectly. Elmer was very compassionate about my situation. Great guy, great company. Honest and upfront pricing. Highly reccomend AAA!

This company just charges you for unneeded services without your consent and Elmer tries to ""sweet talk"" to try and scam you from the real issues. Please do not use this company. Waste of money and time.
