Recommended Customer Reviews

I called AAA Auger at midnight to be sure they could come out to my house the next day. The person assured me that they would target 12:30 pm for my service call. Because I wanted my problem resolved, I even called AAA once again around 1:30 pm to verify the appointment. I was told the tech was finishing up a job near me and he would call. I assured the person on the phone I was waiting for the tech to arrive. AAA called, I called back within 30 minutes and they completely skipped over my service order and went to the next call. All I can say is, if a person will take the time to make an appointment at midnight the night before, that shows intent to be home and waiting to get a problem resolved. Additionally, when a customer calls to double check on the same appointment, what else do I need to do, stand on my head??? The woman on the phone said it would be two or three more hours before they will be available. A 12:30 pm appointment, made at midnight, followed up at 1:30pm now becomes a big if... for 5 or 6 in the evening. I DON'T THINK SO. I WILL NEVER CALL AAA AUGER AND I ADVISE YOU TO DO THE SAME.

They were great to work with! Gives you a written estimate with a breakdown of all expected costs so you know exactly what you're getting. One company was charging $250 to pull a permit, which was way over priced since I could pull my own permit for a fraction of that price and AAA only charged $5 more than what I would've paid on my own. I went with them based on that and how friendly Israel was when he came out.

AAA is legit! Had some plumbing issues and called Triple A late last night and they were able to schedule me an appointment for today. When the plumber (Dan) arrived he put some shoe covers when he walked into the house. Gotta get give him props for that! He was able to unclog my drain and gave me some maintenance tips. This company is very professional! DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone with plumbing issues.

Best pluming experience I've ever had. The plumber(Juan) was friendly, honest and on time. I would strongly recommend you use this company. From the receptionist to the person that called to let me know when the plumber would be here to the plumber himself, everything went off without any issues and problem solved!

AAA Auger customer service was excellent. They lost a star only because they scheduled me for 8a & didn't get to me until noon. However, they kept me informed the entire time.
Isreal Porras was an excellent plumber. He diagnosed the problem quick & told me exactly how much it would be, making the decision making process easy.
Nobody wants a plumbing issue or to subsequently pay for plumbing services. AAA Auger services made the process smooth. I hope I never need them again, naturally but if I do have an issue, I will call them first.

I scheduled services with this company under false information!! I was told there wasn't a charge for them to evaluate why my water wasn't getting hot. I specifically asked about minimum and service fees for them to evaluate the issue. They said there wasn't any charge, but instead I would receive a quote to inform me of the cost to fix the problem. That's not what happened. There was an immediate $137.50 charge for them to assess the problem. This didn't include the cost of fixing the problem. I spoke to the manager, and he did nothing to honor what was quoted to me. I feel like I was baited and they switched the terms. I paid the fee, but wouldn't recommend this company to others. My hot water now works, but I would have gotten that from a company who was upfront about their costs.

During the first snow of 2017 (1/6/17), came home from work to a burst front yard faucet. As you can imagine nearly every place I called gave me the same story, "all booked until Monday", except AAA Auger. They put me on their wait list and called back after 3 or so hours to tell me they weren't going to come that night but that they would get to me the next morning. This gave me time to research my issue and by the time the tech showed up I already had the issue excavated and a fix purchased from Home Depot. Best part about my experience was the tech agreed with my solution, cut the pipe and applied the fix (sharkbite cap) in 5-10 min at no charge. He also gave me a quote on putting in a valve box as I live in an older home and the only water shut off to the house is at the street and a pain to get to.
The fact they didn't automatically push my issue to Monday, provided great customer service that kept me in the know of their progress, and an overall great experience till the end; I will definitely call AAA Auger in the future for any other plumbing needs.

This is my second time using AAA Auger Plumbing Services and they will continue to be the first call I make should I have another plumbing issue in the future. There is no charge for them to come out and do an estimate and they are open 24 hours and available on the weekends too. HUGE plus, because you know that 99.9% of plumbing (or any other) issues seem to primarily occur after hours or on weekends...or is that just me?
When I called, the dispatcher gave me an estimate of how long it would take for them to come out (busy day) and made sure that I would be okay with that. She also promised to call again and let me know that they were on their way within 30-40 minutes of arrival - which they did. I really appreciated this because it kept me from being held hostage in the house all day waiting for them like some companies make you do! I ran a few other errands and they called me soon after I got home to say that they were headed my way.
I had the same tech (Juan) that had come out the first time. I can't say enough about how kind, courteous and polite he was! First of all, he wore disposable footies (extra points for respecting the carpet, lol!). I don't wear shoes in my home and am even neurotic enough to have a bucket of footies at the door for my guests. I didn't even have a chance to offer him any because he already had his own on. I also appreciate the fact that he took the time to explain the problem, how it happened and he also gave me tips on how to avoid having these issues recur the future (rather than just fixing it, taking my money and leaving). ;-)
I don't often take the time to write reviews, but if the service I received had been equally as bad, I would definitely be having a conversation with somebody's supervisor, so why not commend an exceptionally good job? :-) I've already recommended this company to friends and neighbors, so please keep up the great work (my name is on the line now, LOL!). I also hope that someone from the company takes the time to read these reviews and recognizes Juan for his consistently exceptional service. I'm sure this isn't the easiest job to have and probably a pretty horrible day for most people who have to contact a plumber in the first place, so it makes a difference to deal with dispatchers and techs that are always pleasant.
Thank you all again! :-)

Horrible experience. After two days could never get a plumber to my house. They couldn't tell me when and said they dispatch plumbers based on your proximity to their current job. Of course they never told me this when they gave me "courtesy calls" saying they were really busy but would get to me soon. If you want help, call another company.
Update:
And here is the company's response via BBB. Yes plumbing issues are frustrating. Wasting two days on a company that gives false hope they will help is worse. But hey glad you have an efficient manner to operate your business. Kudos for the honesty and response I suppose.
"Thank you for giving us an opportunity. We sincerely strive to provide timely service. We have our company organized in service zones. This is unquestionably the most efficient manner to operate. Your review confirms that we effectively communicated that we were trying to get a plumber to you. By your own admission, we stayed in touch with you numerous times letting you know that we were still delayed. Because we never know how long any job may take, it makes it impossible to accurately predict our subsequent service response. Unfortunately, with the last hard freeze, there are not enough plumbers industry wide in the DFW metroplex to have kept up with the demand. We added your service request to our queue and communicated that we would try to get you a plumber as quickly as possible and that we would stay in communication. I sincerely wish that we could have responded sooner. We truly understand the frustration that plumbing problems cause. Thanks again for the opportunity and we are sorry we were unable to help."

Best of luck? I didn't need luck, just a company that would actually help. You aren't it. How would you know what the work was when you never sent or planned to send anyone to our house?
Hoping one person sees this and decides to choose another company given how you operate. Consumers deserve to know when a company fails. If that is "smearing" so be it.

This is the only plumber I will ever use. Don't bother shopping around, looking for coupons or discounts etc., because this company will never overcharge- they don't even charge extra for coming out after hours or on the weekends.
I have used them several times over the past ten years and every single time they came out to my home right away, got the work done quickly and the charges were always reasonable. AAA Auger will even tell you what coupons they have for you without you asking. From the receptionist to the service staff they are all so polite, professional and they just "care" about their customers. I have recommended them time and time again because they are that good. How many companies can you rave about like this? I bet not many but you will if and when you ever need plumbing services.
