I had a sewer pipe cleaning service done 2 weeks ago and it backed up again. I pulled out about two handfuls of roots and actually cleared my line properly. The techs also made a mess causing me to have to throw my belongings out. They deemed 2 weeks was acceptable for the problem to come back and offered no recourse for the mess despite me standing there telling the tech not to fully open the clean out, which he did

I've used this company in the past and the tech has been great. Unfortunately whoever answers the phones here needs a major attitude adjustment. Completely unable to help or make any appointments outside the hours of 11-2. It's very unfortunate that the face of your business is someone so miserable. Please teach your receptionist how to treat a customer trying to use your services with a little respect.

Excellent in every way! My regular plumber suggested I call them to use their specialized equipment snake a difficult drain (old 1 1/2"" steel pipe with a 90 degree turn out to the street) that runs from basement clothes washer & slop sink out to the main drain under the street. 1) a live person answered the phone immediately on a Saturday afternoon! 2) plumber showed up in about 1 hour, 2) friendly, worked quickly, used 2 different electric snakes to clear the line in under 40 minutes, 3) price was VERY FAIR for such fast and efficient service on a Saturday afternoon. VERY SATISFIED.

we bought a new house and even after all the inspections we had a blocked drain, oh well. So I called American Sewer and the guys were able to come a day earlier which was good for me. They arrived on time and before you knew it they snaked the drain and tested it over and over, both men were clean polite and neat at there work. They took care to clean up and the fee was very reasonable. I highly recommend them and to be honest I don't give many recommendations unless I really believe in the company.

I've never had a problem with my plumbing since I've lived in my house, that's 5 trouble free years. I finally had a sewer drain clog from paper towels being put in the toilet. Of course it (ALL) came out thru the basement toilet on a Sunday! Oh yes, this was also the weekend it was 7 frickin degrees. American Sewer was recommended by my Septic pumper, I got fantastic service!

The Technician Tom went the extra mile. 50' of snaking didn't do it (but definitely was needed). Then he pulled the lid to the actual tank and found the wad of towels at the inlet that he pulled out with the crowbar. Cleaned up everything he should have, was very polite and explained everything which was very helpful. He could have told me I had a septic problem and I would have believed him.

Two hours of hard, emergency , dirty work for $325 on a Sunday, I felt very good about the value, this was truly a major problem. Tom showed up right when the owner said he would which was about 50 minutes after I called, then he called 2 hrs later to be sure we were happy.
