In 2005, my mother hired Ed's TLC Contracting to do some plumbing work.
They are now going under the name of AAA-Ace Plumbing and Sewer Company. (Exact same phone number and Ed is still in charge)
My mom passed away shortly after she contracted with Ed, we recently did an audit of some of her building expenses.
We found two bills, 9/21/05 and 9/23/05 BOTH paid in full. Two of the line items were exactly for the same repair/re[placement. A Gerber laundry room faucet ($465) and $390. Rather expensive for a $35/faucet. But charged and paid for TWICE. There is ONLY 1 laundry room in the building.
I recently contacted Ed directly, sending him the copies of the posted paid invoices. Asking him about the duplicate charge and to refund the smaller of the two amounts.
He refused. Granted it has been many years, but the audit was just conducted and the discrepancy found. Ed took advantage of a dying senior citizen and now refuses to correct his mistake. I'm using the term mistake, only because I find it difficult to think that his business would take advantage of a female senior citizen who died of cancer shortly after he performed these services.

My hot water heater went out. Of course, it was a Friday night. My home warranty company would not get back to me, so I called Ed at AAA-Ace Plumbing the next day. He came out within the hour. In a few hours I was back to nice hot showers.

I never write bad reviews, but this one was very dissapointing for me. Ed came out and he seemed like a nice guy. Told us we need to drain out boiler. He came out on a Sunday and for draining plus service fee got charged $495. He used all our tools to drain it and left in 15-20 min max. Next day i had someone come fix the pipes after draining and discovered that the system was not fully drained and filled out two other 5 gallon buckets. I been texting Ed asking for partial refund and he refused to answer. I sent him videos of the filling up buckets with water since the system was not fully drained and done properly. i feel like $500 for 20 min unfinished work is very expensive and it is unfortunate that Ed is not responding to any of my communications. Will never use him again.
