AA Service and Repair is one of the worse companies I have ever dealt with! I contracted with them to install a Generac generator system and two gas tanks. They were supposed to contact the gas company the day after the installation was completed to get the tanks filled. After 3 phone calls to AA and waiting about a week and a half, I called the gas company myself, wherein I was advised by the gas company rep that AA charged me about $2,000 more than the gas company would have charged for the tanks. After getting the tanks filled, my neighbor checked the oil in the generator and discovered there was almost NO oil. I called AA advising of this and they refused to come back to add the required oil and stated they would not ever do anything in the future because I had posted a couple of reviews on social media regarding the gas tanks. After I got oil in the generator, with the help of my neighbor, I called AA requesting that they get the city inspections completed so I would be ensured the system was safe to use. After several phone calls, AA finally said they scheduled the inspections; however, no inspectors showed up on the date given. I called the city building department and was advised I was never put on their schedule. After several calls to AA again, AA then advised me that the city inspections could not be completed until a Notice of Commencement was signed by me and provided. I had signed this document one week prior to the system being installed, at their office, they claimed they did not have said document. I advised them that they needed to come to my house with their Notary and I would sign another Notice because I refused to go to their office again to do this. I was eventually told they would call me the following day to set a time to do this. I never received their call. After waiting a couple of weeks, I printed the document again, filled it out, and took it to my credit union to sign and get notarized. I then mailed the Notice to them, sending a copy to the City. The city inspectors finally did their inspections. The electrical inspection apparently failed because AA was required by either the City and/or JEA (our electric company) to do repairs at my meter box. We had tried to start the generator right after the inspections were done (not knowing that the electrical inspection failed because no one advised me of this) and the generator would not start. The AA electrical tech that had to make the required repairs to the electric box was nice enough to get the generator going. The office staff are not trained properly and some are extremely rude!

We had a team come out to get a quote ready. Never received the quote. Sent email stating so. Was asked to call, I did. Promised a call back. No call. That's 2 miscues and we're not even to a quote. I'd definitely review your customer service protocol. Extremely disappointing and speaks horribly about your company. It's probably best you find another contractor for this job. It appears these simple services are over the heads of the folks providing them. If we can't get the simple things right, we shouldn't expect anything more complex to be completed satisfactorily or without error. Russ Grey

Had AA Service and Repair install new AC system 8 years ago in 2015. Also have maintained a service agreement for the last 8 years for maintaining and checking the system 2x's per year to maintain the warranty on the system they installed. On Sunday, July 2, 2023 the AC unit stopped cooling. Called another company and paid slightly over $350.00 for an Emergency call. After diagnostic evaluation, technician advised the compressor was overheating and to let it cool down, which I did. The system did not start working again until around 8:30 pm that evening bringing the inside temperature from 89 F back down to 76 F by Monday morning. Monday and Tuesday the same issue continued and temperature by the afternoon was 88 F. Called AA on Wednesday morning to advise of the issue and explained about the Sunday emergency diagnostic. As they installed the system with a warranty on parts for 10 years, with a lifetime warranty on the compressor. I was expecting they could come out and change the compressor. Was told it would cost me another $300 charge to come out and perform another evaluation and if the compressor had to be replaced they would apply the $300 to the labor to repair and I would have to go through the manufacturer to obtain reimbursement on any parts. The labor estimated cost to replace the compressor could be as high as $1000.00 but would be reduced by the $300 charge. This company has supposedly performed maintenance for over 8 years at a annual cost of approximate $200 per year. Not sure that this benefitted me in anyway. As soon as there is an actual problem, I am treated to a $300 non-emergency charge and responsible for dealing with the manufacturer for any parts warranty reimbursement for the system they installed. This company does not stand behind the products they sell or the annual maintenance service. Read other recent reviews of this company reflecting the same type of service complaints. Wish I had known this 8 years ago.

Absolutely do not use! They installed a brand new AC system 1.5 years ago, it then started making a horrendous noise, they came out again, charged us a trip free and $1000 for the work to fix it, claiming it had nothing to do with the new unit. A week later the noise started again and we found a charred part, they came out and """"Fixed it"""" even after the tech telling us flat out he had no clue what it could be. It is making the noise yet again!! Only this time we learned our lesson and are calling someone else because they have not fixed this issue.

Stay far away from this company (AA service and repair)..They installed a AC unit 8 years ago and told me I had a 10 yr warranty! This week the blower and board started acting up. I called them they said I didn't get annual maintenance thru them so I voided the warranty! This was a lie as I called the manufacturer and they said annual maintenance wasn't required only registering the product. When i called back AA changed their story telling me they only warranty for 1 year its a manufacturers warranty which I never received because they didn't register it.. They said they don't register the products,, They gave me a check list of my responsibilities including pouring Vinegar in the drain lines,, registering the product is NOT on my check list.. they just don't want to do the right thing.. Sad..no to work my way thru the courts( if possible) to hold them accountable if possible all the original documents state a 10 year parts... that they won't honor Have a disabled wife no air, they don't care.. It's about $$$ for them

This company sells Generac generators. They DO NOT install the $14,000 product so it will work. They then refuse to fix the issue. This leads you to pay a third party plumber an additional $1100 to pipe the gas lines correctly. Besides the fact that they left leaks in the gas lines as well. This led to a gas emergency requiring us to evacuate our home. The company employees are completely incompetent and the owners have no professional integrity. I highly suggest that you never consider them in your purchase of any product or service.

They don't Care if your a """"New Customer"""" I recently had my air conditioning struggle to keep up in the blistering Florida heat a weekend ago. Thinking that my Freon was low and needed to be topped off. I made an appointment with AA on a recommendation from a friend and because they're all over the local mint magazines distributes throughout the mail in the local area to come out and check my A/C unit. Upon arrival the technician after tinkering around with my AC handler determined that The capacitor was a few volts under the recommended voltage for the air handler. He stated that the capacitor was going to cost me $400 to repair which is crazy is the same exact one that they replaced is on Amazon for just $8. They told me that if I decided not to get the service and the part they were still going to charge me $265 for showing up regardless if your a new customer or if anything didn't need to be fixed which is also ridiculous cannot recommend a place and all that rips you off even if you make a decision not to buy their parts. **Overall extremely overpriced, find another AC repair company that doesn't rip you off and do your research you could fix it yourself for 20 bucks!

I have several issue agreeing spending over 13k with this company. The last AC install ( 1.5 ton unit) was 10 months ago and my thermostat stopped working. I gave them a call and was told I only get a 30 day Warranty on the thermostat. This is just bad business to not truly warranty something you installed. I just paid to have another AC company to come out and tell me that's the problem now they said they would come for $89 to verify that is the problem plus I will have to pay them to replace it

0 stars are warranted. We had this company install an AC unit in our house in 2018. We recently had a motherboard get wet and go out on us. After calling AA and paying $129, they told my wife it would be $2300. The good news was that after warranty it would be $1595 (does this price sound familiar to anyone?). I called later that day and got the price of $1995. Good news again after warranty it would be a steal to pay $995 for their labor. After calling several people and getting a shocked response after telling them what AA wanted we went with someone else. The motherboard was replaced for $500. The kicker is, the wired our 40a outside unit to a 50a breaker. I called AA to see if they would fix this error on their part. I was told that Is what I purchased and they'd be happy to sell me a breaker. They flat out told me they would not fix their mistake. That the unit had been running for two years so it wasn't their problem. In addition to all this we found out they never called the city to have their initial work inspected. The paperwork was manipulated to avoid this inspection. At this point we are going to hire an electrician to have this fixed, but we are also saving our receipts for our visit to a lawyer. We paid nearly 8k for this AC and two years later they will not stand by their work mistakes and all. Avoid this unprofessional company at all costs.
