Excellent customer service from beginning to end. Price was exactly what was quoted even though they had to bring in additional help to clear clog of septic line. Appreciated how both plumbers (Cody and Ryan) kept me well abreast of progress insuring me they would accomplish the task even if it took a different technique. Hired them through HomeAdvisor. So glad I followed the reviews on there, which are excellent (4.53 for 641 reviewers) instead of these on yelp.

This company is the reason people have trust issues with tradespeople. Granted they had a quick response but I did not request 2 plumbers! 15 minutes after the 1st man arrived another plumber came, which surprised me but what did I know? My nephew and I had already found the leak and I pointed it out to them. They proceeded to go up & down my two flat roofs trying to determine why the pipe was leaking. After several tries with a blow back (?) and snake they then went into my crawlspace, stating something was plugged in my septic or dry well? I told them that I'm connected to the county sewer line but they dug anyway and at this point I asked about the charges, stating I'm on SS & just had surgery, etc. He said it wouldn't be more than $6 million (ha-ha) but he said he would keep it under $500. I asked him twice more as they were getting into some serious hours here (from 10:00 to 3:00 total) and each time I was told he was keeping it under $500. I jokingly asked if he could add another $500 to the bill so I wouldn't have to pay the insurance deductible as the insurance company already said they would not pay for the repair....only the damage. When he completed the repair in the house pipe (a total of approx. 15 minutes). He handed me a repair bill of $476.08 AND THEN another diagnostic bill for $1,405.44!! That's 4 hours at $160.00 per hour EACH for 2 men! There was also an estimate to repair the drywall for another $1,200.00 which the other plumber was going to do on his own time. When I questioned him about stating he would keep it under $500 he just shrugged his shoulders, said ""I expect to be paid"" and walked away. And to top it off the materials to fix the leak only came to $31.80 plus tax!
Having not heard from the other guy about fixing my drywall, I called him on Saturday (my work was done on Tuesday) and he said he would come out on Sunday morning and do it for $400. I then found out that the drywall repair would only be an approx. $20 materials fix so I called him back and told him someone else would do it.
I don't know if they thought they could get away with this because I'm a single, retired woman or if this is how they always do business. My insurance adjuster said the charges were outrageous and exorbitant, he had never seen a company charge this much. Lesson learned: ""Always get it in writing""!

I hired AA plumbing after they provided the lowest quote of $750 to install water and drain lines for a sink. I removed the drywall myself prior to their arrival. They arrived and were here for 15 minutes before said they needed me to remove additional drywall and that they would return the next day. Upon arriving the next day there were two workers (one was the primary plumber and the other was clearly a trainee). They took six hours to complete the work and then charged me $1690 for the complete work. They never let me know prior to giving me the bill that the price would be over $900 more than the quote I was given.

I emailed the owner with my complaint and he had one of his employees leave a voice message explaining that the charge was for two individuals. He did not explain why two workers were unexpectedly needed for this job (and it was unclear to me since one was clearly being trained) and he did not address why the bill was so much higher than the quoted estimate.

I would encourage any individual who is considering AA Plumbing to find a different company. I am very frustrated by the increased cost for no apparent reason and by their poor customer service.

Had a hair clog deep and far from my p-traps, so needed a snake! Larry sent a member of his ""drain team"" (which is not the same folks as his ""piping team""?) the day after calling them. He came, he examined, and quoted. I approved, he ran the snake and made only passing mention of the likely culprit! I paid, he left! It was overall a very pleasant interaction. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that I'm typically american, and I wanted my drain cleared on MONDAY! ;) Tuesday is ok...but you only get 4 stars for that!

I called for a quote, not to be insulted. It took about three remarks over the phone to know I wouldn't hire this company and three more to get me to hang up. I'm in need of a plumber but the way I was talked to was just insulting.

I used Home.advisor.com to find the contractor to have my kitchen sink & faucet replaced. After submitting the request, I got a call from Larry and he left the ph#. I called him back and asked if it was ""AA Plumbing"" to make sure I called the right #. He replied: If you don't tell me who you are and I am not going to tell you. It is very rude customer service. He asked what kind of sink I had currently. I thought it a while and said it was cast iron. He asked what kind of faucet I wanted. I said I was searching the pictures right and actually I have specific requirement on the sink and the faucet. I would like to make an appointment with him and talk it over. He said he wasn't going to do that. The tone was rude. He said ""without the information"" how he could quote the price. I said should I gather all the information and email to him. He laughed and mocked ""Here you go."" It seems he doesn't want to do business.

I wish I had read yelp before I wasted my Time...They came recommended from a guy from United Plumbing who did our initial construction. They only do warranty work so call Larry.
Lots of experience in the business etc. etc. I called Larry and he was pleasant and obviously knowledgeable about basement pumps. Mine was the Liberty A380 Pro. After some information exchange he said he would be on a water heater installation near where I live and would call me to confirm. He asked for my address which I texted to him as well.
I even sent the pump make and model number via text.
Not one call was made back to me...not one text was answered ...that was three days ago.
So....what would happen if you actually had a problem with them? What would you have to do to have someone contact you? Send a guy on a pony? Apparent that may gain Larry's attention. It's simple....DON'T SAY YOUR GOING TO DO SOMETHING THEN NOT FOLLOW THROUGH!! You may not want people to call you for new business but at least let the customer know. Your recording should be something like..

Hello this is Larry with A A Drain Team, I may or may not call you back, if you want to leave a message about your problem I might listen and even pat myself on the back because I know so much I could solve it. BUT..I don't call people back so try someone else.

What happened to Honor ...come on

Apparently this is a good company to hire for plumbing needs. What isn't shared is that is IF you can get them to even show up.

After speaking with the gentleman after opening the project I was told all the good stuff about and was interested in getting an estimate and hiring for the replacement of a tub spout that came off. He told me he would call me the next day to work out a time as he needed to see where his crews would be, which was no problem to me.

After waiting until late afternoon the next day I decided to call and see if they were interested in the project or if I needed to move on to the next pro. Call was returned and after the gentleman explained that another small project had jumped into a big one they didn't have someone to send out that day (again I understood). I was told that someone would be sent out the next day sometime after 2:00pm. Again no call and no show. At this point the only people I would recommended trying these people are my neighbors around the corner who I don't particularly like all that much.

Save your time and effort and look elsewhere, you'll be doing yourself a favor.

I called and spoke to Larry who was rather rude and impatient when I asked a simple question. I wanted to have new toilets installed in my house. I only decided to install new toilets after I had installed new carpet. So I wanted to make sure when they removed the old toilets, they didn't drip anything over the carpet. I asked Larry how they ensure that this doesn't happen. His response was he's been in this business for 45 years and he knows what he's doing. Uhmm, that wasn't what I was asking. I asked him again how they would ensure that, and he says he'd drain the toilets. So I asked what he uses to drain them, he took a deep breath and sighed, then said ""I won't make a mess out of your carpet, how's that?"" It's amazing how someone who says he's been in business this long can have such a crappy attitude. He obviously doesn't enjoy what he's doing and this implies that his workmanship will be shoddy if I hired him. Well that ain't happening!!

While the review below was our initial response to the service provided, some things have happened since then that have led us to change this review to 2 stars. I'm leaving 2 stars because they came late on a Friday and helped us find our leak. However, the mitigation and restoration company the plumber personally recommended and called in has been very difficult to work with. In fact, it now appears that Clean Green (Bothell) took our insurance money but will not complete the job they started months ago. As professionals, you should understand that it is completely unacceptable to bring a dishonest company into our home with your recommendation!

Previous review: Thank you, AA Plumbing! Even though our project isn't finished yet, I want to write this now because they went above and beyond today. Larry, the owner gave us a call about 2 minutes after I submitted my HomeAdvisor request. He worked to fit us in later than usual on a Friday for what we thought might be a minor leak. It turned into a major, multi-condo issue that required Rick to stay for about 4 hours to find the source of the leak. Rick was wonderful and totally went out of his way for us. Right at the beginning he knew we'd need restoration work done, so he called Clean Green and got them on site within the hour. Rick was really knowledgeable and helpful. We're looking forward to continuing to work with AA!
