My kitchen helper pushed a bunch of potato peels down the garbage disposal not knowing our disposal couldn't handle it. The sink instantly clogged so we chose this plumber kind of randomly. He did fix the clog in quick time, but he charged $250 and left the kitchen floor muddy where he was working. I was ill and my husband was just out of the hospital so I agreed to the charge rather than shopping around, but it seemed unreasonably high for a simple inside the home clog. I would do more comparisons in the future.

Alex is an angel. We were in a very hard place when we had our gas turned off due to a leak. Alex was fast to the house to offer his services. He is attentive, honest, caring and goes above and beyond to solve problems. Words can not express our deepest gratitude and relief that he and his team put in a 170 ft new gas line, got it approved and inspected in less than a week. A very trust worthy miracle worker.

Our tub and toilet backed up on a Saturday afternoon. I called A&A, and Alex told me he could be out the next morning by 7:00 AM. Good to his word, he was early. Turns out every cast iron drain pipe in my 1950s house needed to be replaced (which, in my defense, I knew was going to happen sooner or later). The whole job was done by Sunday evening with time to take a shower and do laundry for the job I was starting the next day.

He and his crew must have put over 100 feet of new drain pipe in, under my house, in the 12 hours between Alex laying eyes on the job and being done.

Can you imagine trying to start a new job, and have two kids living in a house without functioning plumbing?

I'll call Alex and A&A next time, but he did such a great job I may not have to.

A couple months ago I sent out a couple messages to unclog our sink, they were the one of the first to respond! They came by to help us unclog our sink, turns out it was far deeper than we realized and a simple snake would do. He took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on and Alex actually went all the way back home to get the supplies he needed to basically power wash it all the way through to unclog it. Like I said this was a couple months ago, and we haven't had any problems since! And after he even helped me locate where our pipes were (we live in a condo), he definitely didn't need to do it especially because it was already late, but we really appreciated it! Great customer service!

Edit: Almost forgot to add, we ask everyone to take off their shoes when they enter and we also have shoe covers we give out, but they actually brought their own! Very well prepared.

Alex and his team was very diligent with their work. He also explained what the problem was, how they will fix it, and how to prevent it from happening again. This is my second time calling Alex for plumbing problems and will definitely call him again for future repair/projects.

I requested a quote from alex regarding a leak behind the refrigerator in a house I was renting out. He came the very same day and was extremely polite and professional to my tenants. Alex is a straight shooter and will tell you exactly what needs to be done, no BS. He wouldn't recommend something that doesn't need to be fix and is very honest about that. It turns out the ice machine valve behind the fridge was leaking. He fixed the valves and pipes and assured me that there was no mold or no further repairs needed.

On another note, I called alex for a question regarding a leaking tub in my condo. He took my call and advised me with his knowledge. He gave me his time and was very willing to help. I appreciate the honesty. It is hard to find that in any contractors you hire. Will definitely call alex again if any issues arises!

I cannot express how glad I am to have found A&A plumbing! An exterior pipe began leaking under a concrete ramp at one of our properties & we needed same day help. Alex was responsive, professional and arrived within 30 minutes! He diagnosed the issue, gave a reasonable quote & was able to complete the repair with no issues. And on top of that he was friendly and a pleasure to work with! I will definitely be calling A&A for any future plumbing needs.

I left a message on Yelp Sunday evening and received an almost immediate response. Alex was able to come out the next morning before 8am to fix a clogged kitchen clean out. He got the job done efficiently and in a timely manner. He was also very polite and didn't mind me watching because drain cleaning to me (for some strange reason) is very interesting and satisfying. He was also kind enough to leave a cover for our clean out that didn't have one.
