Was so glad to see Darren again, as soon as I smelled this horrible smell in my bathroom, I knew right away that McCurdy Plumbing had to be called! Darren is always quick to respond and fixes my issues within hours. He repaired my toilet and replaced the seal within minutes! His prices are so fair and his work is always quality. He always gives me such great advice and teaches me how to be pro active to prevent problems which says so much about his loyalty and character. Darren is an awesome guy. I called him on the recommendation of my normal handy lady, who was out of town. I thought I had a broken pipe under my kitchen sink, but it turned out to be something much more unusual. He actually fit me in his schedule THAT DAY and was at my house in less than an hour! Amazing! If you use him (and I highly suggest you do) ask him about the call where he had ""the blob"". That was me! Ha-ha! All kidding aside, he is a small family owned business who gets the job done right the first time and charges a VERY fair price!

Just an update because we had Darren back out a few weeks ago for major work on a master sink and minor work on two toilets. The sink was a major problem because my elderly mom couldn't use it for 24 hours after the return pipes crapped out with leaking and clogging. Murphy's Law, this happened over the Christmas weekend and we didn't want to pay extra for anyone to come out on Christmas Day, so we scheduled Darren to come out on Monday, which was a legal holiday, but he charged us his normal rate.

Darren arrived promptly at the allocated time, assessed the situation, made a 15-mile round trip to the hardware store to get parts, came back and went right to work. When he finished the jobs, he cleaned up expertly, which is important so I don't have to hear about it later from my mom.

For the amount of time and quality of work and pride he takes in plumbing, it is amazing how reasonable his rates are, especially for loyal customers.

And it is worth mentioning that some of the work he did for us this time out is what two other local plumbers insisted over the years ""That can't be done; they didn't build the countertop correctly, not enough room to do it properly,"" blah blah blah. Of course, those two plumbers were full of you-know-what because when Darren arrived, he said: ""That's B.S., they should have done the faucet installation correctly, to begin with, and because they didn't, you now have to shell out $30 for another part.""

My elderly mother and I are just thrilled to have found such an exceptional and honest plumber; thank you, Darren!

Darren McCurdy replaced a toiled for me today. I called him on a Sunday and set up a tentative appt for today telling him I would call after I purchased the toilet. Unfortunately when he opened box the toilet had broken pieces. He was very patient. He said he would remove old toilet and wait while I went to exchange toilet. When I returned he was waiting for me and proceeded to finish job. He also replaced another part while I was gone that was well worn and showed me the part when I returned. Ycch....it was way overdue for replacement. I found him to be honest, reasonable and very experienced. . He will be my plumber of choice and I will refer to friends.

Was nervous choosing a plumbing company but they were Recommended by my family and I'm really happy we chose them. Owner is great, professional and very trustworthy. I definitely recommend using them, he also gives you demonstrations and lessons as to what products to use/don't use.

Called this company after normal business hours for a main line drain blockage at my house. The gentleman (Mr Mccurdy) was courteous and said he would come over in an hour. He showed up before that and did the job perfectly, expeditiously and professionally at an extremely reasonable price, way cheaper than any other plumbing service that I have dealt with in the past. If you are looking for an honest, reasonably priced professional than you should use this plumber!!!!

I've been using McCurdy Plumbing for 5 years now and have never been anything other than totally satisfied. Darren McCurdy, the owner, is an excellent plumber and an overall decent human being! As a single mom, it's frustrating dealing with trying to find someone reliable that won't try to take advantage of you. At least I know I always have Darren on my side when it comes to plumbing issues! He is honest, fair, reliable, dependable, and knowledgeable. I love that he works with my budget, and lets me know in advance how much things are going to be, so I can save for them. He's on time, neat, organized, and efficient. Best plumber around!
