They came out to work on our hot water heater. Good response time (same day). Pretty expensive visit ($150) for a few minutes' work. Main complaint: Their technicians were NOT vaccinated for COVID. If you're a business sending workers to work inside peoples' homes during this Covid crisis, you need to require your workers to be vaccinated. Period. No excuses. Otherwise, no major complaints.

I called A1 Tri County Plumbing this week when my basement flooded. Water was flowing everywhere and I was panicking. They came in a timely manner, quickly assessed the issue, and fixed a broken pipe. It turns out a pipe on my sump pump was broken and it was spraying water back into my basement. I will certainly call them again when I need anything plumbing related.

A follow up to my prior review. The owner called me and he refunded my money. He was very nice, I got the feeling he tries to run a good company and means well but, perhaps isn't hands on enough. Let's face it he didn't have to refund my money some may not have so I have to give him credit for doing the right thing. I hope he gets a handle on things and will be as good as I think he wants to be. I wish him success!

I would not recommend this company to anyone I know or even don't know. They were prompt in coming out . But didn't do anything. I asked if them would clean my drains (traps) in two bath tubs under the house. Come back said they couldn't feel a leak thru the insulation. I gave them the go ahead to cut the insulation open to find pipes, still would not do it. All they want is your money. I really would not even give them one star. The older one was condescending ( acted like I did not know what I was talking about) It was a sewer gas smell. Didn't check the traps or the vents. Just kept saying it was the cats making messes under there. I do know the differents!

Don't waste your time on this condescending company. They'll fake what's needed to be done & waste as much time as possible just to rob each of their customers on their hourly charge.

The company was extremely unprofessional in our experience with them. We called and requested information about setting up an appointment to come to inspect and diagnose the problem in a bathroom. They agreed to send a service person out, and then once they came out, they informed us that they charged a trip fee. Not only did they not tell us that there was a fee, but it was an hourly fee. $150 an hour. After they tell us that they would charge us $3,200 to REPLACE a bathtub. That charge again was just to replace a bathtub. They said that $3,200 didn't even get the wall replaced in the surround area once the tub was replaced.

Needless to say, we chose not to use them, they said that we owed them $300.00 to come out and give that ridiculous charge, then they threaten to put a lien on the property because we told them that NO ONE had ever mentioned a charge. If they had been honest up front, we certainly wouldn't have agreed to have them come out if that had been forthright and reputable to us as customer.

Be careful if you choose to use them, that omit charges and then threaten to file liens on your property. I think that the legal term for this is extortion.

Called this company for water softener repair and was told that they would order the "owners manual" and get back to me. Never heard a word from them again.....until they sent me a bill for $225.00 three weeks later. I had already ordered parts and had a reputable plumber repair the softener for $170.00. Don't waste your time with A-1 Tri-County Plumbing.

They came out on a Saturday in the rain to fix my parents' botched water heater installation. They stayed as late as it took and did a great job.
