I have had several plumbers through my home warranty company, Old Republic. A-1 Rooter is superb! Walt has been to my house numerous times and has always provided the finest quality service. On more than one occasion he has given me money-saving suggestions when he could easily have made more expensive repairs. He has fixed minor problems when he has come to my house on major matters, not charging me for the minor stuff. Whenever I get a plumber through my home warranty, I have tried to get them to assign the job to A-1 Rooter, even if it has meant waiting a few extra days. When I have had plumbing work that is not covered by my home warranty, I have always called on A-1 Rooter. I can recommend them unequivocally.

HORRIBLE service to be nice. I came home from work to see the water heater door mangled. After confronting the owner, Walter, on his behavior he responded with attitude saying a bunch of smart remarks(very unprofessional.) He also saw the water heater hose leaking and left it because he said ""I can't do anything other then what I am sent herefor"". This was the reason why he left water gushing and said nothing to the homeowner until confronted about the mangled door. Walter is very unprofessional, horrible workmanship, and doesnt treat the customers or home with ANY RESPECT. We hired another plumber and this guy was in shock when he heard how (the owner of the business) treated us and his work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

As a new home home owner the last thing you want deal with is unexpected plumbing problems and floods. This was us Sunday. Monday A1 rooter came out to inspect the problem. Walter is a fantastic technician/plumber. He is friendly and he patiently answered all of my million questions making a stressful situation pleasant. He is explains everything thoroughly in laymen terms. He also took pride in his work and did a fantastic job. Thank you Walter! You are definitely an asset to this company!

May I just say, if you are looking to repipe your house, DO NOT go with A1 Rooter. They will be your worst nightmare. You would think people are mostly honest business people who go by what they promise, NOT THIS ONE.

Once they collect their money and finished their job (it might look like it is finished but don't be fooled), they will deny you and their own crappy work.

They somehow finished repiping the whole rental property of ours but missed a pipe. You would think they will come back to finish the job right? But no. They say they come back if you pay them extra. HARD TO BELIEVE but YES A1 Rooter does this kind of thing.

Would you be shocked that soon after you repiped the whole house you have water leakage issue? Please don't be shocked if you fail to read any review on yelp and go with A1 rooter which is what we did. BOO......Well, there are times you have to deal with all kinds of XXXX when you actually believe in "" decent service"" and ""business goes by what's promised"".

Water leaks from the pipe. It is as simple as it sounds. They finally came after you probably called 100 times and left 1000 messages. They tore the wall like they got severe anger issues. Left it opened and said there is no pipe leaking. TOOK OFF with my wall torn opened. "" It is not the pipe that's leaking."" The end. Maybe they are family with homeowner insurance company or something which is how they got most of their business - referral from the home owner insurance, but this is unacceptable. I am stunned by the type of service and attitude this company has toward their customers .

Btw, please expect at least 3-5 days delay to get a returned phone call from them IF they already collected your money and made you believe they finished their work.

Please, do yourself a favor to not consider this business. I am doing everyone a favor by leaving a review.

The worst experiences that I ever experienced. Our homeowner insurance referral A1 to our house to do the repiping. After the work was done my wall starts to show water marks on the wall. After calling the company numerous time. They finally show up. The first time when they came out, they claim the water mark wasn't from the pip. It's probably from the roof. Also the pip behind the Refrigerator was disconnected. They claim it was not included in the job and I have the receipt it state it's the WHOLE house need to do the re-pipe. If I need to connect it, they will charge me another fees. Therefore, we re did the roofing and lately there was any rain but the water mark has gone worse. So we started to calling them have they come back to check again. It took a few week after leaving many voice and left message. They finally came out and very and professionally they cut three big holes and toward my wall down and still claim it's not the pip that was leaking and left. They didn't even to clean it up nor to patch up the walls. Leave with a mess. A picture can show a thousand words. I will put the picture for you guys to review it.

Our water heater pilot broke, and these guys were contracted through our home warranty Old Republic. I was a little hesitant because I've had bad experiences in the past with companies through our home warranty. Walter arrived during his promised window, fixed our water heater in about 15 minutes, was polite and friendly, and even helped to check on my concern of a gas leak from a broken valve.

When I discovered water dripping from my ceiling onto my kitchen counter at 10:30PM, I immediately contacted my home warranty who referred me to A-1 Rooter. I received a voicemail from someone the following morning; however, it took several attempts to get a hold of them again to schedule a day/time for repairs. Once the date/time was scheduled, Julio arrived to perform the repairs. I have to say I was pleased with Julio's professionalism and prompt diagnosis. He explained his findings and next steps. He advised me of the cuts he would have to make in the drywall to resolve the issue. He was thorough with his measurements to ensure he would only cut what was necessary. When complete he had me confirm that the leak had been resolved and gave me tips about proper maintenance of the water pipes. Before leaving, he cleaned up all the dust and residue left behind from the drywall. Julio did a great job!

If I could give a negative minus star review I would. Sadly if you have an emergency DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING THIS COMPANY. 24 hour availability js false advertising. I called on Saturday evening left a message asking someone to call me Sunday morning for Water heater issue. Didn't hear back, so Sunday morning called again left a message and again no call back. It's now 630pm Sunday evening and I still have not heard from them. Poor service and I know they have a contract with American home shield warranty as a service provider so I will be sharing my disappointment with them as well. Extremely disappointed and I am one who prefers to use local businesses. Skip this one.

Had a stoppage so I called my home warranty and they sent out A1 rooter... the guy shows up with no snake to run says he'll come back in the morning.. next day he shows up and cannot unplug my stoppage says he needs a backhoe and hydro getter yada yada yada talking to me in plumbers language .. the 3rd day he puts a camera in the line says it needs hydro jetting calls my insurance for approval .. the next day insurance calls me says it's been approved but A1 rooter doesn't not hydro jet!!!!! Omg ongoing drama with this company!!!! Any how insurance sends out another company and they snaked it and fixed my plumbing within 20 min!!!! I would never ""EVER"" recommend anybody use this incompetent plumbing company A1 rooter there a joke if I ever seen one!

There are no better plumbers in the area than Walter and his crew. We had leaks beneath the slab in a bathroom. Walter came out, diagnosed the problem, and explained what he was going to do every step of the way. His worker, Randy, is one of the hardest workers ever. The work was completed quickly, with no mess left behind. And the price was right. We will be using them for every plumbing problem from here on out.
