Stay Away poor customer service ...they are no longervthevgreat company since the original owner is retiring they do negligent work...I am still pending reimbursement from a botched job. They avoid my calls ...sent me a letter in the mail stating they would send me my reimbursement of 1200.00 still waiting 3 months later find another company!!

Like most folks, you don't need this type of service until it's an emergency. I made several calls for service on my septic system, and A-1 is the ONLY one who responded. Scott and Leo came out to evaluate my tank, and got me running until the pump truck could get there, and recommended a needed repair. Repairs were made and we were greatly satisfied. Contract was written with the exact work needed, no surprises on the cost at the end of the job. Thank you Scott & Leo! Great work!

We had a clog, and I picked A-1 because of their stellar reviews. Randy was nice and told me he would dig up my septic tank for free, but I'd need a new $125 filter. He sent Jaremy out the next day. Jaremie dug up the septic tank and said a new filter would cost $290, not knowing Randy had quoted $125. Jaremie said the cleanout lines and the fill lines in the drain field needed to be hydrojetted for $900, enzymes were needed for $300, and two septic risers would be installed for $1500. Jaremie was on the phone with Randy several times. They quoted a total bill of $2825. Jaremie didn't want to pump the septic tank, although it had been ten years. He said they don't own a pump truck and have to hire another service for that. While I was pondering all the charges, Jaremy had me """"witness"""" a call to another customer that A-1 had just charged $2800. He was livid that the credit card had been declined. He displayed customer name, credit card number, expiration date and security code to me with phone speaker on, while demanding the poor woman make good on the charges of the previous day. It was inappropriate and dangerous, and A-1's charges were extreme, so I declined their services. I wondered if every septic repair target bill was $2800. After researching septic tank costs: Filters are reusable hard plastic, don't wear out, and are hosed off or scrubbed, not replaced, $19 (Amazon). The $1500 septic risers are plastic tubes placed over septic tank openings which allow access to the septic tank without digging it up. Not necessary, but useful. They are readily available at local plumbing sources (PDI), or Amazon. Two 24"""" wide by 12"""" high risers with bases (adapter rings) and lids for a total height of 15"""" cost $194. The hydrojet was just a pressure washer with a longer hose and nozzle. Pros say $300 of enzymes is ludicrous. Very sad, unfortunate experience.

We needed to get new septic lines installed. I had used A-1 last year to have my tank pumped. The guys were great. We were having issues back then and they said we might need new lines. As it turns out, I did need them so I called them back out this year. Just a great group of people to work with. Even when we ran into some unexpected issues, they didn't miss a beat and helped defray some of the costs due to those issues. I highly recommend them.

Kevin and Leo were great. They were a great representation of the company. We received same day prompt service. They were up front with the costs before they did anything, and made a diagnostic quickly. They even told me were something was under the ground (I wouldn't have known other wise). Great work guys. I will most definitely recommend.

So impressed with A1 plumbing! I called about a toilet leak and someone was here that same day. Randy diagnosed the problem (and another plumbing issue that had been """"fixed"""" by a different plumber) and went to get the part to replace it immediately- even offered a warranty on his work. Randy is awesome! Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful experience with A-1 Plumbing. My toilet broke and was leaking everywhere and they were able to come same day. They were very knowledgeable and worked with me on pricing. Would absolutely use them again and recommend them to everyone. Great family owned company with hard and honest workers!!

Last week, I called A1 pumping and repair at 404-552- 0079 to schedule my septic tank to be pumped. I was quoted a time of 09:30am on Monday. At, 10:30am, I called/texted the company to be told that the technician called out and they needed to be rescheduled. When I called it got transferred to someone out of the office that needed to call the boss. She later called me back to say they didn't have anyone available today. They did state they could do it on the weekend for a discounted rate. Quite disappointing that no one thought to call me in advance to make me aware that the technician would not be coming.

Was thrilled when we discussed a $300-500 estimate unlike the bigger plumbing chains who promise the same but then double the price. Well, once they came out the cost to pump our septic was nearly $800 with no reason explained other than cleaning a filter. Double the cost over that and no good reason for the estimate being so far off?? Nevertheless, the work done was done well and fast, but I dont plan on calling them again.

The owner is the nicest man. The team took care of business with a smile and they did an outstanding job.
