Do not hire. There are many legal actions against him due to various construction legal issues.
Thom P.This is the worst contractor I've ever used! I only called them because I thought I'd used them before. Unfortunately, it was another A-1. They came in and found the problem which was great. They quoted me $1500 to do the work, which is high based on my own followup research. Too bad I didn't do my research first. Their contract included replacing six tiles; I provided the grout and mortar. It costed a separate fee of $250. This contractor is unreliable and non-communicative. Frequently late or a complete no show, unable to work at all due to what Art the plumber described as employee personal excuses. Long story short, after the work was done he left a huge mess of construction debris in my lawn, my hose that he used leftunrolled across my lawn (not the way he found it), floors from my front door to back filthy. He said he cleaned them on his knees, but he used a Window cleaning product. The worst of it was his tile replacement which is so horrible he did not charge me; I wouldn't have paid anyway. The grout lines are completely inconsistent because he didn't use spacers when placing the tile. He left chunks of mortar and construction debris on the floor and made a mess of my laundry room and did not return anything he had moved. I was very clear that needed done since I had knee surgery less than a month prior. Bottom line, I will have to hire someone else to redo this work, or do it myself once I'm healed. This company is unfriendly, unprofessional and unreliable. I do not recommend that any one hire this company.
Don't use these guys! My hot water heater stopped working. I called them and they told me I needed a new hot water heater for $850 (total charge). I called another plumber who found the problem - the anode was corroded. $75 later my hot water heater was working. Unbelievable!
