Stay away from Dennis Nunez and his company. He will do anything to smooth, scam, and fool you. I am too embarassed to admit this but I decide to go forward with this that I didn't add from the last complainted I posted on 4/2/2024.

Why now? I was worried that if I said something, he wouldn't pay back what he owed me and he has been bullshitting with thousand of excuses. I got burned obviously.

I lost $9,000 dollars to him on a loan that he promised to pay back more than a year ago. The most recent, I offered him $7,000.00 to settle and he accept it until he saw the post I did on 4/2/2024 and said he won't pay back because of this.

He knew I was going to file with small claim court as I do have a contract that he signed with a witness and he threatened to call cops on me for harassment, threatened to sue me on whatever reason he has. I encouraged him to go ahead call cops on me or take me to court. He's all bluff and I left him alone hoping he would come back and pay me back. I was idiot to think he might will.

If any of you want to file with small claim court - I advise you all to do this or maybe we all could file a class action suit against Dennis Nunez and his company.

STAY AWAY! Dennis Nunez and Frank:
Soon after he arrived at the house on Friday, June 10, 2024 and quickly told me he'd have to bring in someone who really knows about air conditioning systems - ""trust me, he really knows his stuff."" I heard him say on the phone, ""use mom's car"" - so, a family affair. He claimed that all ""transmisters, all 8 of them"" - did he mean transmitters? - needed to be changed on the four units. I very stupidly gave him $400 ($100 for the house call), so he can order parts on Saturday. He completely misdiagnosed the problem and the error msg. that was blinking on the unit. I told him as he had not ordered the parts yet, I wanted my deposit back. Several calls and texts later, he claimed he had to wait for the deposit from the company to ""hit the account"" before he could refund my money. I've been waiting for weeks now. No return phone calls/texts. As it turns out, the problem was the refrigerant was leaking and a coil in one of the small units had to be changed. There's a P.O. Box listed, but no address. Google has them listed as 272 Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY but no storefront showing. NOT WORTH EVEN ONE STAR!

extremely unprofessional. owes customers money from a deposit on a job never done. always has an excuse, even as absurd as ""I bought a mini bike"", ""I had my brothers bachelor party"" ""I had it but I spent it"". When pressured to just do the right thing, he has a temper tantrum. Dennis Nunez should not be running a business.

Beware this company is nothing but a scam!!! The owner Dennis is nothing but a scam artist. Do not be conned by his friendly personality, it's all part of the scam. He came to repair our Mini split, told us it needed freon ,paid him 450. dollars , system stopped working half hour later. He came back next day said unit had to be replaced and he can get it and install. said he needed money to order unit. we paid him another 1,000. after that nothing but excuses to come and install. our stupidity was to not look at all the reviews before. When I approached him on them he denied it all. Well here we are with no air conditioning system and out 1500. dollars. Do not be conned by this guy and his company. He is not listed in New York State so therefore not licensed or insured. Told us he would send a check to us for 1,000. that has not been seen. Please do no not use this company ever!! WI'll scam hard working people out of there money!, Ever negative review on YElP is true!!!

To update my previous review - they later attempted to try and bribe me $175 to remove the review and tried showing me what are probably fake reviews all suspiciously posted around the same timeframe... They had basically scammed me out of more than $2,000. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND DENNIS AND CARLOS AND DENNIS FATHER DEAN FROM ACCURATE AC & HVAC SYSTEMS!! Dennis and his father Dean who ""taught him this trade"" are awful. Photo attached showing proof of this claim so they can't remove the review.

I needed two in wall AC units replaced. Dennis Nunez, the owner confirmed that they will pick up the right units and start the job next day. First, they were 3 hours late. Second, they picked up window AC units and basically took out the in wall AC units and replaced it with window AC ones. They did not communicate clearly what they were going to do and just proceeded to get started. When I googled it, every link says you cannot do this. This was a clear bait and switch where he confirmed that he would get window AC units the went to Home Depot the same day and bought off the shelf window AC units for half the price. I can still even see light coming through the hole in the walls, because they did not seal it properly. I would NEVER recommend doing business with Dennis or this company.

It's so bad, I'm now stuck with two window AC units that I don't want and will be redoing the entire job. Don't end up like me and redo their work.
