A1 Handyman was founded in 1980 during a period of economic uncertainty, when homeowners needed affordable, reliable help to keep their homes in good shape. What began as a way to support a family quickly grew into a well-regarded local business built on trustworthiness, craftsmanship, and commitment for the community.

Over the years, we’ve kept ourselves occupied by focusing on the fixes and upgrades most homeowners lack the hours, tools, or expertise to handle themselves. From leaky faucets to siding issues, our team has earned a name for completing the job done right—on time and with lasting results. Currently, we’re proud to serve Meridian and the entire Treasure Valley with the identical values we were built upon.

A1 Handyman was established by my father, a dedicated and motivated man who created this business from the ground up. Although I didn’t directly work alongside him, he often told stories of his struggles and achievements, which inspired me to carry on his legacy.

In 2017, I took the reins of the business. During my first year, I grew the team by hiring three full-time employees and increased sales by nearly 30%. I’ve been employed with my hands since I was 14—beginning with roofing jobs and later managing production in manufacturing and the RV industry, where I built units from the ground up.

Today, I lead A1 Handyman with the identical values my father believed in: honest work, strong customer relationships, and treating every job with pride. I am passionate about the people I work with and the homeowners we serve—and I give my best in every situation.
