Our company was created in 1980 during a period of economic challenge, when homeowners needed affordable, trustworthy help to maintain their homes in top condition. What began as a way to provide for a family rapidly expanded into a well-regarded local business built on reliability, craftsmanship, and commitment for the community.

Over the decades, we’ve kept ourselves occupied by focusing on the repairs and upgrades most homeowners don’t have the hours, tools, or expertise to handle themselves. This company was founded by my father, a dedicated and motivated man who created this business from the ground up. Although I didn’t directly work alongside him, he often told stories of his struggles and successes, which inspired me to carry on his legacy.

In the year 2017, I assumed control of the business. In my first year, I grew the team by hiring three full-time employees and boosted sales by nearly 30%. I’ve been employed with my hands since I was 14—starting with roofing jobs and later overseeing production in manufacturing and the RV industry, where I constructed units from the ground up.

Today, I manage A1 Handyman with the same values my father believed in: honest work, strong customer relationships, and approaching every job with pride. I am passionate about the people I work with and the homeowners we assist—and I put forth my best in every situation.
