I hired A1 Construction many times. They do plumbing work, tiling jobs for the bathroom, putting the drywall back on the ceiling, etc. I couldn't be happier with the service. They were prompt, professional, and highly knowledgeable. The problem was fixed quickly and efficiently. I also appreciate that they are fully insured, which gives them access to the doorman buildings. I highly recommend A1 Construction to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy plumbing services!

A very responsive, responsible, and honest repairman whose work adheres to a very high standard. Finding a straight shooter in this particular business can sometimes feel impossible, but A1 did exceptional work for me and were open and transparent throughout the entire project. I had a great experience with Peter and A1 Construction. I needed some last minute home repairs (local floor sanding, customizing a shower curtain rod for a unique shower shape). BEWARE!!!

Hired this guy to do some odds and ends in my NY home as I travel a bit. He did a couple of small jobs for me and seemed reliable and trust worthy. Gave him the lock box info, so he could have access to get in for the work.

I get home one day to find sheets on the bed that I left bare... huh? Clothes strewn about. His iPad sitting on my bed and slippers under the nightstand. Has this guy been sleeping in my house?

I then noticed familiar liquor bottles on the book shelves and mantel above the bed. Rare stuff acquired from international travel that sit there empty. All of it. Every single ounce from every single bottle bottle was gone. Some of the stuff I'd never even opened.

You can imagine the anger and sense of betrayal when I find out he rummaged through boxes of my deceased mother's things and for sure stole an LV purse.

When I confronted him, he said he didn't want to stay with his grandmother... what?! When I discussed it with a lawyer, they said there is little i could do legally because I have him access. Don't give this guy access to your home.

A Leak showed up in the ceiling downstairs, we had no idea where it was coming from. Our insurance send another plumbing company who tried to make the issue bigger than it was to make a profit. They didn't even located the source of the leak. The insurance company realized they were dishonest, denied their claim and called A1 construction instead. I was so happy with A1 construction. He was honest, professional, friendly and he knew what he was doing. He located the source of our leak and fixed the problem on the same day and in no time. Book A1 construction, you would not regret it.
