We had an issue with our hot water boiler, Peter responded quickly on a Saturday and fixed it that day. He went the extra mile and went to Home Depot for the part we needed and came back quickly to finish the job. Would definitely call Peter again in a similar situation.

I needed a fast response to a problem with my dishwasher which had ""died."" Before meeting Peter, a man of many talents from A1, I'd been told by another dishwasher repairman that there was nothing wrong with the appliance - the problem was electric (the wires leading down to our basement not giving any power to the appliance). I sought highly-rated electricians with quick response times. I called 4 - ONLY A1 (Peter) called me back, and he arrived in short order. He determined quickly that this was not an electrical problem. He turned to the dishwasher. Two connecting wires in the door opener had melted. He did a work-around, and my dishwasher sprung to life. It turns out they do still ""make 'em like they used to."" I highly recommend him.

I've used Peter twice now, and I've been very happy both times. He's quick to reply, communicative, and works efficiently as well. The last time I had him by I have a laundry list of stuff to be done, including lighting install and plaster work, that he finished in a few hours. And he knows what he's doing. The work isn't slapdash, nor does it look fine only to come apart the next day. He's reasonably priced, and honestly in my experience if anyone is ""cheap"" there's a reason for it. He's a trustworthy, skilled electrician and a great go to handyman for basics, in addition to being a totally nice guy. There are so many people out there who have no idea
What they're doing. He's the only number you need in your phone.

When I woke up this morning to half my house without electricity and no eat, I panicked. I was able to reach Peter by 7:45 this morning and within a few minutes of our phone call he was pretty sure it was a Con-Edison problem. Although he couldn't send someone out right away, he stayed in good contact with me throughout the morning and I was able to text him photos of the situation. He was right about the Con-Ed problem and it was resolved early this afternoon. So glad we were able to reach him and establish a relationship. I highly recommend him and will be reaching out to him for any further work we may need.

Peter and Derrick were awesome. I had leaks in my house due to pipes bursting from being frozen. They went above and beyond to find where all the underlying problems were and not only stop the leaks but had my boiler running great. The leaks were tricky to find and they explored all possibilities. They even stayed a bit extra to make sure my boiler stayed running and no other leaks surfaced. They were very professional and personable. They provided me a lot of tips and pointers. Highly recommend him.
