Had a really nasty experience with grey water gurgling up into my kitchen sink this past weekend. couldn't get a hold of the HOA on time so called a company that told me 2 hr waiting time. by then the HOA called back and said they have A1 Best Plumbing on the line and they can be there within the hr. of course i took the lesser time and talked with Vincent for a second and he assured me he had his team member Leo on the job. Leo arrived under an hour and handle everything in a timely matter and was very polite. hope it never happens again but I would call A1 again if needed.

So the total should have been $905.37 BUT the invoice was for $909.76?!
You may say it's only a very small difference, but my main beef was they did not call me to let me know how much it was going to cost instead of obtaining approval from the tenant. Yes it did have to be cleared but I think they should let the owner know first exactly how much it was going to cost plus the 3% credit card convenience fee that will be charged on top of it. I would have appreciated a full disclosure, and an accurate billing total.

Initial response was great. Then, they ghosted me. I followed up a few times and nothing. Had another company cone out and fix it for less money anyway, but not great to set an appointment and then just disappear. Won't call again.

On Thursday 12/1/22, A1 Best sent Ronald out after dark--on the same day I called--to inspect and flush my water heater. So far the vibration we were hearing from the water heater has subsided, and hot water flows out our shower head in a steady stream. Thanks Ronald and A1 for the very fast service!

Vince and his installer Jim saved Thanksgiving. The night before Thanksgiving we came home and our tankless water heater had quit on us. We began calling around in hopes to find a plumber who might have a tankless water heater on their truck or in their warehouse. Vince said he didn't have one but might be able to get one in the morning. He also recommended calling some of the bigger companies that night as they might have one in stock. Needless to say we couldn't find one that night and Vince went to work early on Thanksgiving morning. He found a warehouse that would open up for him and was able to get the parts needed. Jim arrived quickly and got to work. We are thankful for Jim who did sacrifice time with his family to get us up and running. Jim worked cleanly and quickly while communicating through the whole process. Thank you Vince and Jim again. I will definitely be using A1 again in the future.

I called for replacement of the washing machine intake valves. If our house had been built correctly, this would have been a very straight forward job. Unfortunately, the valves had been soldered instead of installed with a threaded coupling. Ronald and Dominic discovered the problem, figured out how to fix it and worked diligently to get the job done. Later, I discovered a very small leak in one of the connections. I called the next morning and they were back out that day to fix the problem. This is the second time that we have used their services and, again, we are very happy with the service provided.

We had a main line backup in a rental unit and Vince had a crew out to us in 30 mins. Ron and D were very polite and calm while dealing with a tough blockage. Ron snaked it once - it didn't clear. He did it a second time and it was cleared. But Ron wasn't going to leave without ensuring there was no further blockage. He snaked a third time and removed a deeper blockage than we knew about. He said he's ""not a quitter""! and didn't want to leave without ensuring that they left us with cleared pipes all the way through. Thanks Vince, Ron, and D!
