We had a small sewage backup in our basement shower. We called during New Years weekend and they had guys out right on time the next day they were open. They scoped the pipe and found a blockage, and were able to clear it with the scope. They were honest, showed us what they were seeing, explained it all very clearly, and took care of the issue quickly & effectively. They were more affordable than we expected. As new homeowners, we were extremely grateful! Will definitely be calling them again if needed.

So i had a plumber come out for a nasty sewage backup throughput my house. The 1st plumber came out and snaked unsuccessfully . The plumber did not fix the sewage problem, charged me $250 and stated i needed to dig up the front yard for $3000 just to see what the problem was. The next day Kevin at A-1 called me to check on my yelp request to make sure i had been serviced. He explained to me the errors the plumber made and i was able to get them to come back out and fix the issue for no additional cost. Had it not been for Kevin assessing the issue by phone and texting pics who knows how much time and money we would have loss. We did not use A-1 for this job but we will from now on. Kevin is very knowledgeable, honest and goes above and beyond to help those in need... Thx so much A1.

These guys are nothing short of sensational! I had a water back up in my basement and a unique plumbing situation to go along with it (some of the other plumbers I called in Dearborn weren't willing to roll their sleeves up and get their hands dirty). The team came in, assessed the situation and started work right away. They were super helpful and professional, just absolutely amazing. They told me what they were going to do and when they were going to do it, along with keeping me informed every step of the way. I am so grateful for them, they absolutely saved me. Moved to Dearborn area just over six months ago and knew before buying the home that the basement had some sort of water episode that soaked into the carpetted area of the finished side of the basement. I asked the homeowner to have the drain snaked to be sure it was only roots. (there are several massive Oak trees on the lot!) Snaked the front drain to the road and they didn't really tell me what went on there - just that the pipes were all cleaned and fine - no broken pipes. BUT they did NOT snake the drain in the back of the house, where i later found out is WHERE THE WATER BACKS UP.

I wasn't living in the house so it wasn't my call to the plumber - but damn it if a plumber shouldn't be snaking all the drains that could be the issue when they come out to a house!!

After the first strong storm in spring, my new home's basement flooded because of the clogged drain - the main drain - the un-snaked drain. Go figure! - the pipes had collapsed. Over $20,000 worth of damage to the property. Thankfully, insurance covered it all, but when the carpet was removed, the insurance men showed me evidence of prior water damage stemming from the un-snaked drain.

All I can take away from this experience is that this plumber purposefully snaked only the second drain, and not the main, because they knew what was going on. Maybe the seller was the only pussy in this scenario? Or maybe they were buddies with the seller? I do know they absolutely knew they were snaking a secondary drain, and not the main drain. They also knew that I was requesting the house drains be snaked since I was concerned about the water stain on the carpet... something the seller was saying had not been wet in the 3 years he lived there. This costed me 4 months of intense remodelling and very uncomfortable living arrangements!

Please tell me that half of the real post are deleted I contacted A1 plumbing at 1030 AM today for a simple snake of my main line for a true plumber no more then a 30 minute job if meant to be the phone call to A1 plumbing told me I would be contacted by a contractor within 30 minutes 3 hours later he calls me and states he would be there in 15 minutes 5 pm he shows up can even Rome the lid to the clean out I had to do it which I am a contractor and injured unable to work then charges me 80 dollars to show up and had nerve to charge a after hour fee on top of that wanted over 900 dollars to snake a simple drain.people just cause you hear them on the radio doesn't mean anything they are sharks amongst people who can't under stand the crap they are feeding you and people all these fake 5 star comments can not be true from my personal experience I will never recommend and never call again and I suggest you do the same unless you like paying 7 to 8 hundred over for simple plumbing 0 stars and I hope you people read this before hand calling them

They were very thorough neat professional and courteous, wore face masks from start to finish of job. When the job was completed took me on a inspection tour showed and explained what and why it was done made sure before they left was I satisfied and if I had any questions. I can't recommend A1 Bargain Plumbing enough. I called several people/companies and got a lot of information that turned out to be untrue. I feel the LORD led me to search online and I came to A1. The customer service as well as Kevin was extremely courteous and concerned about my problem.

Kevin came out he explained, showed me on the camera, recommended and fixed my 3 month issue. Kevin treated me just like family. He even found an additional problem and fixed that. I feel my experience was treated fairly. I will forever recommend A1 to anyone in need of true, honest and fair services. Thank you again.
